I'm trying to figure out which is the best Shuttle Service to use for Transportation from the RCL Cruise Terminal in Long Beach to LAX. I was going to book the Royal Caribbean Shuttle Service that they offer, but read one story about long waits and even an inadequate # of shuttles to LAX for pickup to the airport. I'm not sure if that was an isolated incident or if it is common. So, I wanted to see if there is any other alternatives. For each of these recommendaitons, have you used it before? How was the service and transportation to and/or from the Airport? Does the Shuttle Service just wait for you in a waiting area near the exit of the Port? Any input would be helpful, thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have my elderly parents and my family of 4 for a party of 6. I know that I can just split the Uber ride into 2 separate cars. But I prefer to use some type of a shuttle service so all of us can be together.

What are your thoughts on flying out of LAX to SJC on a Friday for a flight at 1:15pm? The latest that I figure that I can arrive at the airport is probably 11:45am, which should give me 45 minutes to check in and get through security. I'm going to book the RCL Shuttle service for the Navigator of the Seas. On a Friday morning going through rush hour traffic, do you think that we could make it on time on a Friday morning Disembarkment?

I am looking into a possible cruise for a family of 7 for the Navigator of the Seas that embarks from the Los Angeles World Cruise Center. I'm considering flying into Long Beach Airport and then flying out of LAX ( since it has more flexible departure times ). One of the options that I have to get from the Airport to the Cruise Terminal is to simply rent a car at the airport then drive to the Port, drop everyone off, return the car at the closest Rental drop off place and then take a Uber back to the Port. I'd then do the reverse when we disembark to get back to LAX. As you can tell, this is a pretty big hassle for me...but it gets the job done. I saw one of the cruise videos that suggested to sign up for a Transportation Shuttle service to go between the airport and the Cruise Terminal. Has anyone taken one before between the airport to the Cruise Terminal? If so, how was the overall experience? Any recommendations on which Transportation Shuttle that you'd use again? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on what the easiest way to get from the Airport to the Cruise Terminal in LA? Thanks for responding.
