I booked the NYE cruise months ago. I’m excited that Venezia is coming to PC.

I have already sailed in October, November, and March. I’m sailing to the ABC islands on Carnival’s Horizon in May. Then, I’m going on a much overdue friends’ cruise on Carnival’s Liberty in June. We will be celebrating my niece’s graduation on Mardi Gras in July, and we’ll be cruising on Carnival’s Magic in November.

Lanyard is the worst.

I see you're a mom... are your kids older and do the cruise with you? if so did they have enough to do on the ship?
My kids have been sailing since they were 3 and 5. They are now 18 and 20. They’ve always had plenty to do. When they were younger they did kids club. Now, they do trivia, shows, comedy, pool, etc.

The Legend was my favorite ship until the Dream Class came. The Conquest class(Glory) is my least favorite. So, I’d likely go with Legend or Magic. Because I’m doing the exact same itinerary on the Miracle in a few days, I’d probably go with Magic. I’ve also done that itinerary on the Legend once before. One of my favorite cruises.

Loving your review. We’re leaving Sunday on the Miracle. So excited!

If you have your credit card attached to their sail and sign cards they will let them board with you.

Exactly, that's the issue I saw with self-assist 🙂
Last cruise, when we thought about doing self-assist, the meeting time was before the time the Lido buffet opened
I don’t go to Lido. I go to the main dining room. They open at 6:00 am.

I’ve always gone to the mdr for breakfast first. Then, I go to the meeting place for Platinum self assist debarkation.

I live an hour away, parking is less, I don’t have to get a hotel, and I don’t have to deal with Miami traffic.
-
I’ve been on both. They are very similar, but I liked Liberty better. And, I’d rather sail from Port Canaveral than Miami. I love Half Moon Cay, but I also love Cozumel. It depends on what you want more. Ports of call, departure port? Liberty is a newer ship than Conquest.

I sent in a boarding picture of my 1992 cruise on the Fantasy.

Thank you for posting. Looking forward to sailing her in June.

I’m too young for this but many savy cruisers will tell you AARP.
also Allstate
also Amex does $100 off $500 twice a year
I’m too young too. You don’t have to be over 50 to join the Rewards for good program. I’ve been using it for years.

I paid the majority of my cruise with gift cards. The rest was with AMEX to get the deal they had going on.

I’ve missed Grand Cayman and Costa Maya. Both were in June. (Different trips.) I’m a teacher, so I usually cruise in June.

I like night. That way if I want to take a nap during the day I don’t have to feel bad about messing up the bed.

My daughter was 2 months shy of the next group. They asked her if she wanted to move up. But, she wanted to stay with her sister. It depends on how full the ship is and how many of that age group are on board. Ask. All they can say is no.

Is it $5/person on a 7 day cruise? Last year we went on a 4 day cruise. It was $5/person then. Just want to make sure it’s that price for all cruise lengths.
-
I’ve sailed on both multiple times. I found the service to be better on Inspiration, but they change the crew frequently. Other than that the ships are very much alike. I would go with which port is more convenient to sail out of and which ports of call I’d rather go to.

You don’t have to be a AARP member. I have belonged for a few years now. Just bought 2 $500 cards for $900. Received them today. It took 6 days.

Carnival Casino points system

I’m not sure why anyone thinks they will get anything with 5000 points. My last cruise I saw people with over 50,000 to 100,000 points. I got 12,500 (in Feb.) I currently don’t have any great offers.
