  1. Thank you. That's unfortunate. I was hoping Getaway Island was still on this ship. I think that would be a great show based on the description on that website.
  2. thank you ObstructedView2. The playlist productions link i have must be outdated. it showed Getaway Island and Rock Revolution as being the Freedom. I haven't heard of The World Works Here. https://www.saintgregtravel.com/playlist-productions/
  3. ...and what are the Playlist Productions shows? Thank you.
  4. The Freedom has 4 & 5 day itineraries. The shows on the ship are Getaway Island, 80's POP To The Max, 88 KEYS, and Heart & Soul. I assume they only do 3 (maybe only 2) of the 4 shows on that shorter itinerary. For those who have specifically sailed on the 4 DAY, which shows are on that 4 day, and which one was eliminated? We absolutely love many of the Playlist Productions shows. Thank you for your help.
  5. I love all the feedback. Thank you. Perhaps the Pride would be the better option...But I'd love the 80's party the Spirit offers too:-)
  6. thank you for the very comprehensive reply.
  7. Preference? Never been on any Spirit class ship but have always wanted to. Itinerary doesn't matter. We love the shows. Of those that have been on both, just curious which you prefer and why? thank you.
  8. We'll be sailing on the Silhouette this coming week. Does anyone know if the NCAA tournament games will be shown on any of the bar TV's? Thank you.
  9. Thank you for your quick responses. We loved Grease and especially Mama Mia when we saw them on Allure and Harmony several years ago. We were interested in the Adventure of the sea specifically for the transatlantic in October of 2024.
  10. The research I've done has given me conflicting information. Also Typically how long is any given show on a specific ship before they switch? Thank you.
  11. thank you gumshoe958 - you're absolutely correct. We absolutely chose this one for the itinerary. We really like the production shows on the larger ships. Regardless, we always have a great time.
  12. Why?...Really? There is a huge difference between entertainment levels from one ship to the next. I was just asking for feedback specifically on this ship. I know that every ship has (in your words) "an assortment of comedians, jugulars, some RCI singers, and RCI singers and dancers. Plus, love and marriage" as well as variable entertainment that changes weekly. I was just wondering if someone that has recently sailed Jewel may have info/feedback...but no worries. Thanks for your input.
  13. We're looking forward to sailing next month, and love the shows. Does anyone know where I can find out what shows are on which RCCL ships? ...and specifically the Jewel this time? Thank you.
  14. Thank you for that report and photos. Looks great. We will be on Mardi Gras next year. Could you please tell me what the PLAYLIST PRODUCTIONS shows were onboard?
  15. For some reason I cant find what I need. This is the latest info I have and it is over 4 years old. https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=3235 Which shows are playing will play a major roll in determining which cruises we take in the next few years. Thank you for your help. America Rocks, 88 Keys, Flick, Epic Rock and so on.
  16. I was just wondering in what way will we be compensated for the lost time? On a normal 7 day cruise, 8 hours isn't too bad...but on a 3 day cruise, when our original time was 10:00 a.m, this is a major delay.. We'll miss pretty much the first full day...
  17. We got this advisory from Carnival saying boarding tomorrow will be delayed "due to weather conditions" in Bimini Bahamas...Looking at the current weather in Bimini, that makes no sense to me. No rain, and only 22 mph wind...Why would they spin this as a weather issue as to why the ship hasn't left Bimini and/or will be delayed getting to Port Canaveral? GUEST ADVISORY EMBARKATION ADVISORY CARNIVAL LIBERTY– DECEMBER 2, 2022 December 1, 2022 Dear Carnival Liberty Guest, Our Fleet Operations Center in Miami has been actively monitoring the weather in the Bimini area. Unfavorable conditions are making it difficult for the ship to safely depart. This could impact the scheduled arrival time into Port Canaveral and your embarkation tomorrow. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with timely updates. Please do not proceed to the cruise terminal until you receive our final update.
