What the other posters said about Laguardia and holiday Inn on 48th is correct. There is a Comfort Inn at 548 48th St.

You did'nt say what date you were looking at. We plan to take the Splender cruise next September 20th, 2015. When they open the dates for reservations, that is when I will book something. Good luck.

Staying at La Quinta Airport, 26th St. Is there anything any closer than the Oakwood Plaza shopping center,(however humble), to get something to eat? I'm concerned about trying to get over there to eat after our plane gets in 7:30 P.M.

Well miracles and good PVP's still happen. As I am in the process of posting this, he is moving our sail date to Febuary as I requested with no pentilies or fees. I do have trip insurance, in fact it's the same insurance underwriters that Carnival uses. My medical condition would be considered "pre-existing" so the insurance wont really help. I'm really happy with what he's done for us.

We are to sail Jan 19th on the Freedom. Due to medical issues, (hip replacement), I'm not phyically ready to tackle this. Would like to schedule in Febuary. Has anyone had a simular problem? Would there be fees, penalties? Would like to hear.
