  1. Thanks, JasonV1!! I Most Surely Will, Try Out The Seaview Café!!

Thanks Maureencruiser!!! Nordic Empres Was My First;)!!!

Believe It Or Not, It's Cheaper For Me To Fly To San Juan, Puerto Rico, Than Leave From Cape Liberty!!!

    Jewel, $989.00 Quantum, $1, 594.00

Airfare To Puerto Rico $350.00 , Parking 8-Night At Cape Liberty $185.00

The Jewel Is 7-Nights, Leaving In Oct. (My Birthday Cruise) Going To St.Thomas, V.I., St Kitts,& Nevis, Aruba, Curacao!!!

Quantum Leaving In Jan, Going To San Juan, Puerto Rico, Labadee, Haiti, Samana, Dominican Republic!!!

I Think I Made The Right Choice Switching To The Jewel!!!

  2. I've Booked Jewel Of The Seas, Instead (Southern Caribbean) 10-14!! This WILL Be My Birthday Cruise!!!! I Never Sailed The Radiance Class, And I Hear Such Good Things About The Jewel, And Her Sister Ships!!

I Do One Day Hope To Sail The Quantum, But For Now She Is Just Too Expensive For Me!!! And, I Just Can't Justify The Cost!!!

Maybe... I'll Sail Her In October 2015, For My Birthday!!! LORD Willing!!!

  3. Thats very cool

So your in a "Super studio ocean view with balcony". . I hadn't realized the studios had balconies, that awesome !!.

I learned my first new fact. :o:p

Hey Shaun!!! There Are Only !2 Studio Balconies, On The Quantum, Midship With Six Each On Deck 6, And Deck 7!!!

Four Of These, Have Slightly Larger (Extended) Balconies, Than the Rest!!!

I've Noticed ALL Of These Rooms Have Sold Out On EVERY Sailing On The Quantum!!!

BTW, This THREAD Is Going To Be, Just As Good As Gambee's!!:)

  4. Quantum prices. as is the case with every ship in their fleet, will reflect the amount of demand for this new ship. If you find the prices to be higher than you are willing to pay, you can probably find another ship in the fleet with prices more attractive to your wallet and if you are willing to wait prices should eventually come down to a more favorable level. All lines charge whatever fare they believe their customers are willing to pay. They are for-profit corporations, not charities, and set their fares accordingly.

Your'e Exactly Right!!! As You Can See In My Signature, I Cruise With A Variety Of Different Cruiselines!!!! I Worry About MY Bottomline, Not The Cruiseline Bottomline!!! It Can Be Cheaper To Fly To Flordia Or Puerto Rico, Than From Leaving From NYC!!! But With The Breakaway, Which I'm Sailing In October,And The Quantaum, I Won't Have To Fly As Much!!

  5. Cant wait to sail on Quantum of the Seas outta Bayonne, NJ. So happy that they are bringing the new ship to the Northeast!! I live near Albany, NY so it'll be great to just drive to the port. Been on Voyager and Explorer outta Bayonne. So much easier to drive there, then to fly to Florida or elsewhere. Going on Jewel of the Seas next month outta San Juan, hoping to book Quantum of the Seas while on this ship to get my savings for booking while onboard the ship. Found somewhere that they may have a spa junior suite, would like to book that if the price is right. Hoping the prices wont be so expensive that I have to get a room with no view. Loving the new features that they will have Quantum, anyone know when the next update will be?
Yes It Is Great To Have The Quantum Of The Seas!!! We Also Have Norwegian's Breakaway, Which I'm Sailing In October!!! I Just Hope The Quantum Prices Are NOT So Overpriced!!! I Will Like To Sail Her In Oct 2015!!! BTW, I'm Sailing The Jewel As Well, Next October For My Birthday!!! Enjoy The Jewel, And Post A Picture Review!!!:)
  6. The Jewel and Serenade are two of my fav ships --- you'll have a great cruise onboard her.

Never been to Aruba or Curacao. Have been to all the others, some 3 or 4 times and always find something interesting to do/see. The 2 times I went to St. Lucia I loved it. I'm single and both times I've been to Grenada I did a shore excursions that allowed plenty of time to explore on my own - had no problem either time walking about. St. Croix, did the shore ex to the rum factory and other stops - which included some food with the banana ketchup -- liked it so much I bought a bottle:D:o.

I love itineraries with Sea Days, but when it comes to the Southern Caribbean itinerary for the cost I normally chose the one that's more port intensive. Never know when you'll get back there.:)

Hard to chose -- have fun deciding.

So Very True...... Thanks For Posting!!!!!
  7. Why would you want to go back and see places you've already been when there's a whole bunch of places you haven't been to yet?

I am going on basically that second itinerary because we went on the first one already.:D

Well The First Cruise With The St. Kitts, Aruba Intineary, Sails On The Week Of MY Birthday!!! The First Week Of October!!!

The Second One With The Antigua, St, Thomas, St. Lucia... Sails Nov 01, 2014, I've Been To All The Islands With The Exception Of St.Kitts, (Oct 2014, Birthday Cruise), And St. Croix, Grenada, ( The November 01, 2014 Cruise Sailing)!!!

  8. Here's My Diliema, The Jewel Has Two Sailings. I'm Interested In, The First (Oct. My Birthday Cruise) St. Thomas, St. Kitts. Aruba, Curacauo.

I've Been To All The Ports, Except St.Kitts, And This Sailing Has Two Sea Days, Which I Love...:)

The Second: Sailing Nov. 01, And Going To St.Thomas, St.Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada, Only Has One Sea Day:(

Grenada, And St. Croix Will Be New For Me, As Well As The Jewel. I Never Sailed HER Before!!!

I Love Both Intineary's, Which Shall I Choose??, Or Better Yet, Which One Would YOU Choose???

  9. Why Should Flordia Have All The Fun?? I'm So Glad Royal Caribbean Has Chose Cape Liberty, To Sail It's New Ship From!!!

This Port Has Over '50 MILLION PEOPLE' Within Driving Distance!!!

I Gurantee This Ship Will "SAIL FULL" On All Of Her Sailings, From Bayone, N.J.!!!

As Some Might Not Want To Fly UP North To Sail Her, I For One Is TIRED Of Flying Down South To Sail!!!!

From Now On, I Will Only Fly To San Juan P.R., For Southern Caribbean, Or To Seatle Washington For Alaska!!!!!

I Will Continue To Sail From The NYC/Tri- State Areea, And/Or Sail From Baltiomore Md., And Boston Mass!!!!

Yeah!!!!! For NYC/ East Coast Cruisers!!! We Have NCL'S Breakaway, And RCL'S Quantum Of The Seas!!!!

    Take That Haters!!!!!!!
