Question about the MedallionNet Voyage package.  Does that allow one device at a time? Can that be shared with my spouse by signing off and letting her sign on? Can you still access the ships wifi for medallion purposes without being connected to internet?

You can purchase 1 device or multiple device package. On the 1, you can log out for 1 and in for another.

Do not need the phone. Just lose out on some functionality.

    Another related question,

I purchased the internet package - do they issue you a password ? How does it actually work ?

Currently rates are $10 per day or $7.50 per day if you are elite and trade in your free minutes.

Have you all watched the Princess Video explaining why medallion net does not work well; or the signal is bad in Alaska.  The video explains why the signal is great in the Caribbean and not so great in Alaska and the Northern hemisphere

Currently one day west of Nuuk Greenland. Tv erratic. Slow email. Streaming NOT working. Difficulty loading images.

Just got back from a cruise on the Regal, and the announcements from the bridge were broadcast on the bridge cam channel.  On the Medallion ships with the new TVs, you'll find the bridge cam channel under the Live TV category.

Would have guessed that, but NOT so on the Caribbean Princess.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I wonder if it is a function of whether or not the room TV has been upgraded to the newer flat screens that have different menus.  The Royal Class ships, I believe, have the ability to hear announcements on the bridge cam channel and it may now be a function on the Caribbean Princess, Emerald and Crown.  Don't hold me to that, but it would make sense seeing that they had been retrofitted.

    Am currently on the CB.

Have the new large flat screen.

    Medallion class.

NO sound or announcements on bridge or navigation screens

    The latest tech is hurting

Also to see account statement must go to www no account data on tv.

IMO Princess has always been over concerned about disturbing passengers with announcements in the cabin, so we have to open the door and listen in the hallway, or some people listen on the TV.  They CAN pipe it into the cabin, it has nothing to do with technology.

Is there no bridge cam station, or does the bridge cam station not broadcast the commentary? On the Royal (similar tech and TVs) we heard it on the bridge cam station. Just not as easy a channel to flip to as before, though.

  8. Does anyone know how to get the public announcements on the cabin tv?

Old days, just tuned to bridge camera and there it was. Have asked several ship personnel and no can do. Must keep door open. Very strange for modern tech.

    Thanks for response.

Currently on the Caribbean princess bound for Greenland.

There are a group of 10 of us going on the Royal in October.   We are all senior citizens and some do not have smart phones etc.   Are we able to just print out our boarding pass and they will have the medallion waiting for us when we get to the port or does everyone have to go to ocean.com and fill in all the information?    We all have our personalizer filled out, is that all we need to do?   Thank you for your help.

print out your boarding pass and they will have the medallion waiting for you when we get to the port

Does the Medallion's arrival mean the a specific cabin has been selected for those who booked only by category?

    My guess is no..

I booked a guarantee,do not have a cabin assignment yet but received an email that my medallion is on the way. Interesting to see when an assignment will occur; if at all. 🚢

  11. Plenty of cabs, BUT......BE CAREFUL of the meter....

Just returned 7/7/19.  Hopped into a cab for Penn Station and driver wanted $34 flat plus tip.

After encouraging a few time to turn the meter on, we paid $24 plus tip.

It seems they like to pretend the meter is not working.

Otherwise, a fast and good ride.

It is my understanding that Ocean Compass only works when you are on the ship.

Problem solved with latest app fix.
