  1. From the Captains Club information on the Celebrity website:

Looking to take your vacation to the next level? You’re in luck. MoveUp allows you to bid on a stateroom upgrade after you’ve purchased your cruise. As a valued Captain’s Club member your bid gets a bonus boost based on your tier. So, you get more value than what you bid. Classic members get an extra 1% multiplier, Select members get a 2% multiplier, Elite members get a 3% multiplier, Elite Plus members get a 4% multiplier, and Zenith members get a 5% multiplier.

Which month of the year will you be there?

Do look at Ttripadvisor for le Castellet.  Lots of photos and suggestions for what to see and do there.so might help you decide.

By contrast, Aix is a working town and more likely to close on Sundays.

We are doing a Transatlantic, so we’ll be there the last week of October.  It’s definitely tending toward off season.  Does that make a difference?

  3. We will be cruising into Toulon on a Sunday.  Lots of OBC so need to decide between 2 ship tours.  Aix on your own pretty much. On Sunday shops are closed, so is there much to do/see.  Castellet I have read is a very small village, tour does include a tour guide and a wine tasting. Thoughts please.

  4. After being told there was no CC party on our May Millennium cruise, they did indeed host one.  The ship received an email from Celebrity that they were indeed back on.  As they had not pulled the list of names prior to the cruise, I provided the Roll Call list for our cruise.  Sorry to hear that they are having problems with this again as they had a wonderful get together for us.

You may have to USE (not just book) your FCC by the end of this year. That is our date and our circumstance. We picked YVR to FLL through the Panama Canal...

We just received these FCCs for a cruise that we took in May.  Need to book by December 2022, but can cruise afterwards.

  6. We were on the Silhouette in November and the Sun Deck Retreat had a bar setup.  I just watched a video of the Millennium and did not see a bar on the Sun Deck.  Did I miss it or do servers go elsewhere for anything that you would like to drink?  Also, does the Millennium Sun Deck have a light lunch service as we did on the Silhouette?  Thank you for your help.

  7. Very new to this board….I’m generally a Celebrity cruiser, but have sailed HAL a few times.  We are sailing a West Coast cruise on Celebrity to Vancouver, then boarding the Noordam for a cruise to Alaska.  Trying to plan for flights, so I’m wondering what your thoughts are for the Noordam actually sailing the Panama Canal cruise in April to Vancouver.  We are on her first Alaska sailing.

    Thank you for your help.

  8. I called Celebrity today about another issue.  When asked if there is anything eLse, I asked about Celebrity Move Up as there are several Sky Suites open for our Cruise and I’m hoping to bid.  The rep told me that I need to be invited to bid, otherwise I cannot bid.  I thought everyone has the opportunity, please correct me if I’m wrong.  I did ask how they choose the invitees.  Of course, she had no idea.

Does anyone think these cruises will be cancelled because of the 14-day quarantine Ships coming back from Europe I made final payment today now I'm worried about it

I think there are a lot of variables in play here.  We are on the 22nd, with final due in a few days.  Barring any huge development,  we will make payment.  Fingers crossed that it will not be cancelled.  Celebrating our 25th and I’m really looking forward to cruising.
