  1. on our dec 8th sailing, there were 2 other shows not available to pre-book. we had a 2nd headliner act (hypnotist Marc Savaard) & Journey Tribute band (Resurrection) that performed in Musical Hall & also in Aquatheater. It has been our experience on 3 Oasis class ships that there has been 1 or 2 additional shows once onboard.
  2. My family's tradition is Windjammer. We are usually on the ship by 11 & windjammer is not crowded YET
  3. Does anyone have feedback on Michele the CD who took over for Bobby Brown?
  4. Johnny Rockets is 2 doors down & of course, sells milkshakes.
  5. Obviously tastes & opinions vary. My family LOVED Rickey Mathews from the Mariner. He was a great showman. For me, it seems like some CDs are just MCs or hosts, and others have the added value of being entertainers. I assume Mark on Harmony was Mark "Bing Bong" Walker who we have also loved on 2 cruises. Abe Hughes, Alan Brooks & Leigh Xuereb were also some others of our favorites from the past.
  6. Do you receive your SeaPass card at check in, or is it outside your cabin? Is the photo gallery all digital now, or do they still put out physical pictures to go through?
  7. The song Grease Lightening is the unedited version so there are sexual references including a couple of words that are repeated a few times that can be considered inappropriate for impressionable kids. The show is fantastic!
  8. On allure, is decks seven aft by the elevators the same as on oasis as far as you cannot walk from port to starboard due to the boardwalk sign below?
  9. Asking for friends taking their 1st cruise ever. Allure of the Seas January 5, 2020 I have been on 16 cruises with Royal, including Allure when it 1st came out, & more recently with Oasis & Harmony, so I am overall familiar with Oasis class ships. I just don't remember a few things... -does the Allure have the Way-Finders throughout the ship? -besides the shows that were available for pre-booking, are there other shows during the week that you just walk I to? (I remember on Harmony there was an extra ice & aqua theater show, and there was a hypnotist in the Royal theater on Oasis (and I am asking about shows as opposed to the Royal Promenade shows & dances like 70s night) -are the days of the week on the elevator floor? Thank you in advance for any help. I'm sure I will have more questions soon
  10. I trust you had a great cruise. getting off at terminal A was painless last week & took minutes with passport facial recognition as u mentioned.
  11. Bob. That's why we pay you the big bucks I didn't think to do that, but I just posted it over there as well. Thank you
  12. Thank you all for the advice. I'm not yet an Uber/Lyft person (I know, I'm crazy, but 20 years ago, if a stranger pulled up to me & said get in my car, I never would have jumped in the car) We were just off the Oasis last week so I am familiar with the madhouse at Terminal A. Organized chaos at its best. I ended up booking the 11:55am flight. So I called Royal to arrange their shuttle. This was fun. Follow me on this one. They do not allow someone to book a shuttle if their flight leaves before 12:00. The guy says he will try to put in my 11:55 flight time. Denied. OK. I asked him if Royal actually checks that I have a specific flight booked? He says no. They want the flight info so they can plan the shuttles, which run every half hour anyway. I said, so I have 2 options...either I can call back with a different flight # that leaves after 12, or you can simply type in 12:00 instead of 11:55 so I can book the shuttle. 5 minutes is not making the difference of a shuttle getting me to making this flight. He puts in 12:00 & gets my family booked on the shuttle. The best part about this is that I was on the phone so long with him, that while on hold, on a whim, I looked up my cruise to check the prices, & my cruise dropped $610!
  13. Was on Oasis last week. Food was good, but food temperature on everything except the burritos was lukewarm at best. I will try it again next time when we are on the Symphony.
  14. Symphony sailing June 6, 2020. Called to reprice & saved $610! (total for 3 people)
