  1. We prefer 7 or 8. You can easily use the stairs for all but the pool and Windjammer. Also a cabin near the stairs/elevator, if possible. Those hallways are LONG!

  3. No - I bought the drink package before the prices went up, so I don't want to cancel and rebook. I was just hoping to use the OBC to buy an internet package at the pre-cruise rates. The rest will go for tips, casino, and maybe a specialty restaurant.

  6. We have $500 in OBC. We have already paid for the drink package and excursions. On Royal, you can use your OBC for pre-cruise purchases, but I don't remember that offer being made when I purchased the drink package and excursions on the Carnival site.. I'd like to pre-pay internet for the 15% discount, but I'd really like to use some of that OBC. I tried putting it in my cart and I still don't see any way to use OBC to pay for it. Am I missing something, or does Carnival not allow the use of OBC for pre-cruise purchases? Also, can you use OBC for getting cash in the casino? Even if I use the $500 for grats and internet, I still won't use it up.

  8. We are travelling with friends on the Magic in November. Our reservations are linked. In order to check in at the pier at the same time, I’d like to do the on-line check-in for all four of us. Will I be allowed to check them in? If necessary, they have given me all of their account and login information. Do I have to do check-in on the Hub app, or can I do it on my computer? I don’t have access to their Hub app. What information/documentation do I need to check them in? Can I just get images of their passports and vax records? Do I need anything else? Thanks in advance!

  10. I'll answer since we did this yesterday. I set up two appointments and two accounts (both using my email), but then asked if they could do both of us when we logged in for my appointment and she did it with no problem.
  11. We've only been to CC once since the renovations, and we went to the Beach Club. This trip, we want to be near the action, but in the shade. We are the only ship in port (Harmony). Suggestions for the best location and strategy for getting the best spot?

  15. I always use insuremytrip.com. They will give you a number of plans and costs.
  16. This is SO true. I barely recognized CC when we visited there in January!
  17. They ask you to bring them from the ship, but you can trade them in while there for clean ones. They usually have them to check out as you leave the ship.
  18. They have gotten better reviews on these Boards than OnPoint. We have appointments with them on Thursday for our Sunday Harmony cruise.
  19. We like the end nearest the door, several rows up. If you're too close to the ice, you can't see the show as well.
  20. We have appointments with RTT for Thursday morning. I'm scheduling these as a backup for Friday. UPDATE: Thanks for the advice above. It worked!
  21. I just signed on to try to get an appointment for testing at Walgreens on Friday. I went through the entire questionnaire (truthfully) and at the end I got this: "We're sorry, we can't schedule this test type because you don't meet federal testing eligibility criteria." Has anyone else had this issue?
  22. After all of the other comments, I'd like to add that we really enjoyed our ship excursions. Going through the locks was fascinating and our tour of Panama City was very enjoyable, too. You don't have to stay on the ship and not visit the country at all.
