Have a 4 generation cruise in 2 weeks on Celebration, my daughter made t shirts for all from 18 month great granddaughter to 84 year old grandpa, wearing them for embarkation day! In all my 20+ cruises this matching cruise shirt thing will be a first for me!

Did not realize Wi-Fi calling was blocked. Do you need to purchase a plan through your carrier if you need to be able to receive calls while at sea?

found this link on previous cruise critic post while searching for cabana info
https://www.carnival.com/cabana/loft-19-cabana-HB2
you have to be logged in to your cruise planner for this to work

I enjoyed your review! Will be on Celebration in May, appreciate all the info you provided!

In this case, next port for us is Ft Lauderdale.

Getting more common, just last week 19 migrants were rescued by Beyond and more by a Carnival ship.

Currently on Beyond, we were at the front of ship in thermal suite and witnessed Beyond steer towards a small ship waving a red flag, lost sight of the boat as it approached the side but looks like migrants (4-6 people) picked up again.

Following, sailing solo on Beyond in January in SV, looking forward to your review!

Aquaventure is offered as an excursion on my 7/8 Freedom cruise, $207.99 per person 😳

Ordered a 2 pack from Optum store.Optum.com on 12/23, received today 12/24, expiration date on both is 11/06/2022.

On Adventure in July and Odyssey in October it was $5.

Anther vote for the proctored home test - very easy, and you can do it whenever it is convenient for you during the 2 day testing window - no appointment needed, no driving around, instant results!

So when you go to book through planner it is giving you a choice? When I select each person in my family, at check out I see 4 adults, 1 child. $167 for each adult and $70 for a child. (I wonder if the kids package is really just paying the $10 fee upfront)
I sent them an email asking for further clarification.
There are 3 of us going, 2 adults and the 12 year old - when I select all 3 of us, at checkout I see the same price ($104 on my 4 night cruise) for each of us, so it is charging adult price for her and no option anywhere to select a child option.
-
I am also traveling with a 12 year old and was interested in purchasing the UDP - the cruise planner allows me to book it for the 12 year old at the adult price - if I don’t book it for her, will she be limited to ordering from the kids menu only? Or does the $10 fee allow her to order from the regular adult menu?

On Odyssey this week and cruise director said 40 under 12.

Under 12 are NOT tested at the port. There was a policy change and it is effective tomorrow. I am enclosing it so the info you have given can be corrected. It is taken from the RC website.
Required Pre-Cruise Testing for Cruises Departing September 13, 2021 or Later
Guests departing on or after September 13, 2021 will need to meet the new requirements recently issued by the U.S. CDC.
Vaccinated guests age 12 and older must show a negative COVID-19 test result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 2 days before boarding.
Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative test result for a PCR test taken no more than 3 daysbefore boarding. Antigen tests will not be accepted.
Guests under 2 years of age will not be tested.
The cost of pre-cruise testing is the guest’s responsibility.
Under 12 are tested at the port, from the RC web site and directly underneath what you quoted above:
Kids Age 2-11: Additional Complimentary Testing
In addition to the pre-cruise test, kids will take one or two more tests, depending on the length of the cruise. Royal Caribbean’s test provider will administer these, at no cost to our guests.
- On boarding day, kids will take a complimentary rapid PCR test during check-in at the terminal. We’ll send registration details via email before departure.
- For cruises that are 5 nights or longer, kids will take a complimentary antigen test onboard before the cruise ends. Vaccinated guests who require a COVID-19 test for re-entry into their country may receive one onboard as well. Guests will be notified onboard about how to register for this test.

Was on the 7/25 Adventure sailing. Yes, it was stressful completing all the requirements prior to board, but once on the ship it was awesome! Came home and booked a solo cruise on Odyssey for 10/9 and Freedom for 1/3, hoping capacity is still reduced as I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of an uncrowded ship!

Just ordered via emed (6 pack). My friend went to order on the Optum site "OUT OF STOCK" (both 2 pack & 3 pack as of 8/28/21).....needless to say I am very thankful and now less stressed knowing my kit is ordered well before I will need it.
Just now ordered a 2 pack from Optum site, not out of stock at this moment.

I think that I read one potential but temporary side effect is increased tooth sensitivity and gum irritation - would hate to have anything interfere with my ability to enjoy food and drink on a cruise!

I am on the 10/9 sailing, no notification yet that Labadee is cancelled, and Labadee shore excursions still available in cruise planner - maybe they are still working on alternative port for this sailing?
Question for Americans
in MSC Cruises
Posted
Have done 2 Caribbean cruises on MSC (Seaside and Divina), and one med cruise (Bellisima) - 30 cruises overall across a variety of cruise lines, and that Bellisma cruise is in my top 3! Loved the variety of guests on the ship, crew was outstanding, food and entertainment were wonderful, ship was beautiful, would not hesitate to book MSC again for Europe!
