Thank you very much for posting, it's good to hear that you enjoyed your crossing.
How did the food compare to Oceania?
I see they have trademarked "The Best Cuisine at Sea" - a bold claim !

Did someone say room service is chargeable now or have I made that up? A jug of hot chocolate delivered last thing was one of my favourite things!
Room service menu is in this thread

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share the ups and downs of your first day. Let's hope tomorrow brings a peaceful sea day with a better dining experience.

Looks like a beautiful evening in Southampton, I hope you have a good view of the fireworks.

Oh dear @MylesS, I'm glad you managed to get fed eventually but that's a terrible start. Could you tell if other tables were waiting as well ?

Well it’s 20 mins until dinner and no sign of my cases. The steward says none of the cases in my area have come up yet. So the question is do I just front my day clothes out in Britannia or slum it in the buffet even though I’d never normally eat there in the evening.
Also stepped on a small shard of metal which was embedded in the carpet so not off to a great start!
Hope your foot is OK, I would go for dinner in Britannia. I'm sure they'll be understanding.

Hope embarkation goes smoothly for you all, I guess there are a lot of higher tier guests so priority may not count for much.

Several years ago our formal clothes sent via White Star Luggage didn't catch up to the ship until about Day 4.
The ship lent Mr HH clothing, they did have a few evening dresses but nothing that fit me !

I've seen a film of it somewhere but I can't remember where. It's pretty much as expected, a bit narrow in places, blocked by lifeboats in others so possible to do a circuit but not sit on a steamer chair.
Found it on Instagram, not sure if this will work

But it is a worry nothing has been so much as mentioned about a Prom Deck.

I know we cannot usually name travel agents but perhaps this is an occasion where someone like Host Hattie may be able to let us bend the rules?
No rule bending, any posts with names or hinting at Travel Agents will be removed.

I know it's an exciting time but there are several threads running about Queen Anne, can we please leave this one for the maiden voyage cruisers ?

Thanks for letting us know, was it direct with a cruise line?

We will not have a car but instead will be taking the train from Paddington to Kingham, about an hour and 20 minutes. Our plan is to base in Kingham and utilize the hiking trails to visit Churchill and Bledington. We will also use the train (short ride) to visit Charlbury, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
I've stayed in Kingham for short breaks, it's a lovely village. That sounds like a great trip but the station is a little way outside the village.

@4380 I've updated your title to reflect your problem. If you're based in the UK I can move the thread to the UK cruisers board.
