  1. During the tour, we passed a couple of pallets with items marked for Summit.
  2. An invitation to enter a walk-in freezer room where the seafood is kept.
  3. I found this sheet of paper taped to the wall in the galley. It appears to document which cabins pre-ordered room service breakfast for this morning which was a sea day.
  4. The galley was our next stop. Here is where the soup is made: Section of the gallery dedicated to serving Luminae: Section of galley devoted to Blu:
  5. First stop was the Main Dining Room. A waiter discussed the work that is involved. A napkin folding demo was given.
  6. Because of all sea days, I broke down and purchased the Behind-The-Scenes ship tour. It cost $100 pp although the pre-cruise price was subsequently increased to $120. It is offered on three different sea days. There was some confusion as to where to meet for the tour. The shore excursion tickets and the letter sent to your stateroom mentioned the meeting time (9:45 am) but nothing was mentioned about where. The night Celebrity app said to meet at Cellar Masters (Deck 5). Well it turned out that our tour guide was waiting for us at them Rendezvous Lounge. Our tour group size was 12 and the tour lasted two hours. We were given ear sets with which to listen to our tour guide.
  7. Rain showers seen on the starboard side of the Oceanview Café at lunchtime today.
  8. Here is this morning’s view from our aft balcony. iPhone time was changed to Buenos Aires time zone to force it to the new ship time.
  9. Waves were a little rough yesterday, but I didn’t get sea sick.
  10. Our internet connection has been nonexistent for the last 30 hours. There were supposed to be two NFL football games televised in our stateroom at 3 pm as well as in the public areas yesterday (Sunday). However the satellite connection was poor, we didn’t get to see anything. With the Internet connection down along with it, I couldn’t complain to anyone about it either!
  11. We attended Melinda Bates’s 4th presentation as enrichment speaker.
  12. This is the AirTag warning I got today when I left our cabin.
  13. We had breakfast today up at the Oceanview Café. Omelette station: It was not very crowded. It is in very good condition. Rugs look new and tables/chairs are in excellent condition. I always liked the novel floor windows on the OVC of the M class ships. Drink offerings and prices: My wife prefers the buffet for breakfast where I prefer the MDR. So we’ve been alternating.
  14. To force my iPhone to the current ship’s time (GMT -2), I used South Georgia Island which has an average year round population of 24 according to Wikipedia.
  15. This morning’s aft view: I saw this morning’s sunrise, too—on @biggerboat47’s phone from a video that he took earlier in the morning. Here is our current position: The weather at sea will be warmer than yesterday:
  16. Hydrangea peak season is in July and August. It must be gorgeous.
  17. Next stop was Lagoa do Fogo in the center of the island. From there you could see Constellation docked at the pier:
  18. At Ponta Delgada my wife and I took an independent private full day tour in a 4x4. Our first stop was the Sete Cidades caldera on the west end of the island. On the way there we saw this old aqueduct. And we saw cows. Lotsa cows. Sete Cidades caldera:
  19. I did not know that this was a Chihuly. I’m only familiar with his famous work at the Bellagio.
