Thank you all for the info!! We’re going to go ahead and take the chance! 🙂

It’s just my husband and I.We would be on standby.
-
I saw all the questions after I asked the question. :) Southwest said that if we do miss our flight they will put us on the next flight out.

We are cruising to the Caribbean on Princess November 7 and we’re coming in the day before so no problem there what I’m a little apprehensive about is our flight back to Phoenix. It says that the ship docks at 7:00 and we always take our own luggage off but we’ve never been to the Caribbean or Ft Lauderdale. Flight leaves at 10:10 am is the ship usually on time there?

Kuro, while a bit pricey, is fantastic. Not sure what places will be open in November other than those listed on the website right now. Once construction is done, there will be more options.
I reserved it yesterday on Travelocity and with tax total was $170.00. Which we figured wasn’t bad at all. We wanted something where we could go eat dinner and have a little bit of fun and not have to venture out anywhere especially since it will be dark when we get there.

We’re not arriving until early evening flying in from Phoenix. So I’m thinking dinner maybe some slots and early to bed for the cruise the next day. 😊

We’re leaving out of Port Everglades on a Princess Cruise in November. I just booked our room for the night before at the Seminole Hard Rock hotel and casino. Has anyone stayed there and if so what are your thoughts. Thanks!

Quick question. Is smoking allowed on Princess Cays?

I found the coffee menu on the Princess website. It's a pdf download.

Quick question regarding internet on the Crown Princess. The last Princess Cruise we took was back in 2010 and I don't think internet was an option. Due to my medical issues we finally were able to go on another cruise February of this year. Unfortunately we chose Carnival but we were able to purchase unlimited internet usage. Looking at our upcoming cruise November 2019 on Crown Princess you have to pay for packages that are minutes not unlimited. Princess doesn't have unlimited internet?

Thank you all so much!!! The only other cruise line we've been on was Carnival and they didn't have it and their food wasn't good at all!!
-
I know this is kind of a weird question but when we went on our last cruise on Princess in 2010 they had the best beef Wellington in the MDR. Do they still have that? We're sailing on the Crown Princess to the Caribbean November 2019.

INSIDE
Smoking is allowed in the designated area of the casino and inside of Churchill's (cigar)Lounge - adjacent to the casino.
OUTSIDE(on deck)
Smoking is allowed in a designated seating area (Port Side) of the Tradewinds Bar(Deck 12) -- this is the largest area allocated for smokers. There are a handful of separate tables and chairs available.
There are also two other smaller locations that have a couple of chairs and/or bench&table. One is located aft on
the Promenade(Deck 7)(Starboard side - if my memory serves correct), and the other is on Deck 14(Starboard side) @ a narrow deck outside of the exterior door adjacent to the Teen Center and forward of the hot tub.
Thank you so much!!

Our last cruise on Princess was in 2010. Due to a brain tumor I had and subsequently removed in 2015 we haven't been on a cruise until February of this year and we had limited funds but wanted to do something for our 25th wedding anniversary so we went on Carnival. We learned you get what you pay for. Anyway I digress! My husband smokes and we need to know where the smoking areas are on the Crown. We read somewhere that there is one on the Lido where our cabin is so I'm hoping it's close by. Can someone tell us where they all are? Sorry for the rambling post!:):)

Good luck, will you be posting a review once you return?
Yes I will. We decided to give Carnival a try because of a great deal we got. We've only been on Princess before. :)

Yep, got the same email. Just gives us more time to grab one more In N Out!
We're sheltered..............LOL
Haha! We have In N Out here and we love going there for lunch on the weekends!!:D

Thank you everyone! I've never gotten an email like this when we've cruised with Princess so I was just a little confused.

We're leaving on the Splendor this Saturday and I received an email last night that says the following:
Due to operational considerations, we expect to open terminal doors at 1:30 PM. With this in mind, we kindly ask that you add one hour to your Arrival Appointment and plan to get to the cruise terminal promptly within the new time. Guests who arrive outside their new Arrival Appointment can expect to have longer wait times in line.
Our paperwork says to check in at 12:30. Does this mean that instead we need to check in at 1:30 instead? We've never traveled with Carnival before. Thank you!

Thank you! Regarding the excursion, I should have written it clearer. I was talking about the excursions in the ports, Puerto Vallarta etc. Sorry! :)

This is our first time cruising with Carnival and I have a question regarding disembarking.
On Princess at the end of the cruise they let you disembark earlier if you had a flight to catch. Does Carnival do this?
For excursions booked through the ship there was a separate line to disembark to go to the meeting place for your excursion. Does Carnival do this?

Before you’re dropped off at the parking structure, the truck be to your right.
Thank you!
-
It’s still there, water side of the parking lot. Lots of tables and chairs. Many under EZUps.
Thank you!! We're going to be so early it gives us another option!

The area around the Carnival Terminal is fairly industrial and there is virtually nothing in the way of an ordinary "coffee shop" that would be open for breakfast...except...
On the Queen Mary--which is right next to the Carnival facility--The Promenade Cafe onboard is open for breakfast:
http://www.queenmary.com/dining-bars/dining-bars/promenade-cafe/
The other alternative is to hop on the Passport shuttle (it's free) and take it across the bridge into Downtown Long Beach. There is a stop at Pacific and Third...just about a block from this place:
http://www.omeletteinnlbc.com/
Of course, that second option takes a little bit of travel, but, really not much...the Passport picks up right in front of the Queen Mary, brings you to Pacific/Third and drops you off back at the Queen Mary...maybe if you explain your mobility issues to the driver, he'll stop a little early and let you off at Third and Pine (they pass right by...)...
Thank you. I saw that and it looks to be about 1/2 mile walk. I think we might just grab our luggage and eat at the airport and then head to the terminal.:)

I've read a review that states there's a food truck closeby but I can't say for sure. I think there's a café inside the Queen Mary, as well.
Thank you! Maybe one will still be there.

We are going to Antigua in November on Princess and we have booked this excursion. Has anyone done this one and if so how was it?
