Mortons is always an excellent choice for steak lovers. Matt's at the Market is wonderful, not a steakhouse, but great food. Love Seattle!:o

Did it in 2009, but are peanut farmers! Just so happened the VP of Amadas Peanut Combines was at their store in General Dehaza at that time. We flew into Cordoba, he picked us up and took us to General Dehaza, it was wonderful and very interesting. He took us back to Cordoba four days later and we flew to BA to go to Iguazu Falls for two days before going back to BA, flying to San Paulo and leaving the next day on the cruise. You might just look up beekeeping in that area to get an idea.

I flew LAN from BA to Iguazu Falls, stayed two nights at the Sheraton inside the park. Did the Argentina side of the falls that afternoon on foot. Had plenty of time. The next day had a taxi take me to the Brazil side and took the helicopter tour. It was great, taxi stayed all afternoon and then back to the Sheraton. He picked me up next morning and took me back to BA for flight to São Paulo to spend the night and leave on cruise next day! He was very nice and I tipped him accordingly!
Don't miss Iguazu Falls, it is beautiful!

Thanks! I am thinking of going solo and just can't quite get plans made!

thank you Lois... I guess it is different for me, because I have spent most of my life not living alone... have lived alone for about a year now... and cruising alone... well ... gonna try it. Going to try to make it a relaxing cruise. Maybe i will join the roll call... not sure about that yet...
I am the same way! I asked a friend to go with me in May, but I am going to book another cruise and go solo! Will be a first for me and hope I like it.

Allure and Oasis are two of my favorite ships! Actually, when I am on a cruise, the ship I am on is my favorite!
I have never cruised solo, but am going to try it! Thanks for the encouragement!:)

I have stayed at both and prefer the Gallery One. It is a short walk to shopping and wonderful restaurants!

This will be our first cruise, well cruisetour on HAL. On RCCL we are happy with a balcony cabin for a 7 day or less cruise. We are farmers and used to wide open spaces and I don't think I could do an inside cabin. The first thing I do when I wake up is open the curtains and walk out on the balcony. Over the years we have met people that cruise monthly or cruise way, way, way more than we do and I don't know how many would say they always book and inside cabin because they are never in their room. We enjoy our room and balcony. If we are on a longer cruise we want a larger room. We also enjoy having breakfast in our room or on the balcony. We have stayed in Jr. suites, Grand suites, Owners suites and a Crown Loft suite and several of those were upgrades.
I don't guess I have ever met a suite snob, or I guess I didn't know it! I could care less what kind of cabin anyone stays in! I'm on vacation! -
We used Christian the Van Man on our two trips also and I highly recommend him and! He picked us up at the airport, took us to our hotel and then toured the city that afternoon. Picked us up the next morning and toured the wine country, had a nice lunch in Vina Del Mar and on to the port! :)

We got an invitation to eat at the Captain's table on Mariner of the Seas. It was wonderful, different menu, wonderful service and yes the wine flowed. At the end of the evening we were given a picture of the group and and a menu signed by the Captain. Fun, fun time!

You can also wire transfer money to your onboard account. We have done that before on long cruises!

We just walked around at this stop! Enjoyed it, but didn't do anything specific!

In 2009 we took a city tour and I highly recommend it. When we got off the ship they were offering it at the port , probably ten or so people in a van. It was inexpensive and we so enjoyed it. Beautiful place!!!!!

Managed to get ahold of Micheal and answer my own question. Here is the price quote in case anyone else needs info.
Jan 9-transportation from Carnival Dream to Melbourne airport.
Town Car for 2 people - $50
Limo price for 2 - $70
We used Michael last April and using him twice in December. He is honest and has great service! In April our flight was late arriving at Ft. Lauderdale. We always fly in the day before our cruise, for that reason, but didn't for this one because our flight arrived so early. I was worried but he was waiting for us! We will always use him for Ft. Lauderdale pickups!
He is picking up our two grandsons, their parents and our daughter and taking them to the Radisson in Cape Canaveral from the Orlando airport on the 18th. and then picking us all up after our cruise on the 26th. He is even going to take us to the Kennedy Space Center or some other place to waste a few hours after the cruise and then take us on to Orlando, with additional fare, of course. We will tip him nicely~!!

Just to add one more, in Santiago we stayed at the Radisson and loved it. Very nice and clean. We walked to blocks to a very good restaurant.

We did this tour last week and it was so much fun and a great way to see the island. We booked it through RCCL. They only have 7 cars and do two tours a day, I think.

We are going on the Liberty on May 9th. to the Eastern Caribbean. We have already been to all of the ports, but we don't care, we will enjoy them anyway.
Your review was great, thanks.:)

Thanks for the review. We sail on Liberty on May 9th.:)

Of the three, I have only been on Allure. I don't think you will be disappointed with Allure! Love it, booking it again in October!;)
