  1. This was answered on the boards before they changed and now I can't find it!  We are sailing on the Anthem in February 2019.  We have purchased the Oceanfront Cabana.  When we board where do we go for the cabana assignment?  We are sailing with our grandchildren and I really would like the front row so I can watch them from my chair lol.

Got the same offers for the football game. We leave tomorrow for the Cuba cruise and pats game.

I hope the seats are better this year.  We did the pats game last year.  It was Monday Night Football and the seats were the last 2 rows of the stadium.  I did not go on any of the football cruises this year for that reason.  Please report back and tell me where the seats were.  Thanks!!

I don't play slots, so I don't know exactly how it works, so please bear with me.

Say someone has $200 in promo play.  They load this into the slot machine, use $50 to win $100.

They cash out.  Are there two cashout tickets, one for $150 in promo play and one for $100 in winnings?  Or is there one cashout ticket that is somehow encoded with two different types of funds, $150 in promo play and $100 in winnings?

When you cash out , the winnings are on the cash out ticket.  Any promo play left stays as credits in the machine that you have to play.

    I bought it.

But, I'm waiting for some answers about the specifics.

I figure, that I can cancel, if I don't get the answers I want.

I emailed club Royale so I would have something in writing this is their reply:

    Dear Roslyn,

Thank you for contacting Royal Caribbean’s Club Royale!

We apologize for any confusion. To clarify, the original purchased chips will earn you points when played but not the bonus chips from the promotion.

If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to call and speak with one of our Club Royale agents toll-free at 1-888-561-2234. We are available from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday (EST). You may also reach us at ClubRoyale@rccl.com.

There is a new offer in my cruise planner called $200 slot credits and $20 scratch card.  In the terms and conditions it calls the $2000 cost and the promo free play promotional.  i am pasting the part that concerns me below.

Promo Slot Credit Bonus Offer (“Offer”) applies to purchases made via Cruise Planner no less than three days prior to cruise departure. Offer provides bonus slot credits in addition to the value of slot play purchased, and a scratch off card. Amount of bonus credits and value of scratch off card varies by value of credits purchased: $25 in bonus slot credit for pre-cruise purchase of slot play credits valued at $500, for a total of $525 in promotional slot credit; $75 slot credit bonus for $1,000 for a total of $1,075 in promotional slot credit; and 10% bonus slot credit when you purchase $2,000 of play, for a total of $2,200 in promotional slot credit.

Price shown at time of purchase reflects discount and is in USD.
i want to know if you earn points on the $2000??  Usually you do not earn points on promo play.  I called and spoke to a club royale representative and was told that you do earn points on the $2000 but he could not give me this in writing.  The terms and conditions are not clear and I would like clarification.
    Thank you,

I just bought the $2000 slot credit, with the $200.00 bonus credit.

My concern, is that I won't accrue the proper slot points due to the "Promotional credits" being played. It states that the full $2200.00 is considered "Promotional credits".

    Does anybody know for sure??

  7. Just back from coco cay, last week. Had the ocean view deluxe cabana. They are beautiful but-make sure you get to the shore excursion desk as soon as you board. The front cabanas are oceanfront, while the back row ones- for the same price are not that visually appealing. all of them come with towels, floaty mats and a cooler with bottles of water. The food was served buffet style in a tent not that far from the cabanas, there was hamburgers and hot dogs freshly grilled while you waited, also chicken and shrimp kebabs, fish, cola chicken, assorted salads, (cucumber, potato, beet, tossed, watermelon, etc.) baked potato, with sour cream and bacon bits. Also cookies and pastries. So much food available for the amount of people in the cabanas!

You went to the excursion desk for cabana assignment? Can the concierge help with any of this?

  8. I posted this on a thread on the Royal Caribbean board, but I am posting here also just to show maybe there is some hope for us gamblers!!

I just want to share my very pleasant experience with Club Royale yesterday. I am signature and my husband is prime. I used my tier reward for a February cruise with my daughter and grandchildren. I still had my husbands inside reward. I called and inquired about a 6 night Adventure of the Seas sailing in March. I wanted to find out the cost of upgrading to at least a junior suite. The agent was very nice and said, yes we could upgrade, but let her play with the numbers based on our last cruise this April. She put me on hold for a few minutes. She came back and said it would be better to forgo his reward because based on our play we could have a comped junior suite on this sailing and just pay port charges and taxes of $115.40 each. I said great let's do it. Then she said do you want me to see what it would cost to upgrade to Grand suite. I said sure, but didn't think I would spend the money on this ship. She put me on hold and when she came back she said the upgrade would be $200.00 each for the Grand suite. I immediately took it. Maybe they are starting to listen to all of our complaints!!!
