  1. Hi we are planning on going to Emerald Beach while in St. Thomas on our October cruise on Jewel. A few years back we visited Emerald Beach and had some drinks and lunch at a fabulous beach bar right on the water. Just wondering if it is still there. It was just an open air type place with a large square bar with seating and a few tables with a wood frame. I believe we also rented chairs nearby and wonder if they are still available too. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. Arubalisa, Can you tell me where did you go on Palm Beach. We are a group of 16 looking for some water sports (jet skis, banana boats) on Palm Beach in October. Any ideas you may have for a beach day including some water sports and/or snorkeling would be greatly aprpeciated.

I see you were born and raised in NJ. Me too, grew up in Wayne and now I am in Western Massachusetts.

  3. We would like to see the following:

    1. Brimstone Fortress

    2. Black Rocks

    3. Timothy Hill

    4. Romney Manor

with a beach break at the end if possible.

Does anyone know which tour operator includes all of this?

Captain Sunshine's 360 St. Kitts tour looks interesting, but it does not specifically say that it stops at Brimstone Fortress, which is #1 on our list to see.

    Thanks!

This sounds like something we would be interested in doing, however, we will be a group of 16. Does anyone know of a tour operator that could accommodate a larger group. We will be in St. Kitts in october of 2014.

  4. I am happy to report that we were very pleased with Sapphire Beach last week. I would highly suggest water shoes because it can be tricky walking into the water because of the rocks and coral. The snorkeling was terrific. The cab ride from Crown Bay was $11 per person each way although it was posted $10 each way (no additional tip from us because we were charged $11). There are several people walking up and down the beach taking drink orders. The bushwackers were awesome!!! as well as the lime in the coconut drink. There is a small tent set up between two buildings of the resort with a grill with decent burgers and sandwiches and they bring the food right to you on your beach chair. In addition, someone from a local pizza shop was walking around handing out menus and the guys at the dive shop would call in your order for you. The beach chair rentals were $6 or $7 a chair. The dive shop was excellent renting snorkel gear. The bathrooms were clean in the morning and relatively clean in the afternoon. You can't expect much better than that when more than 100 people visited the beach that day. Even though there were lots of people there it didn't seen too crowded. All in all it was an awesome day and we would go back again.
