OK, so far I'm reading "dive in"and "drive in". I thought "dive in" was a typo. No longer sure.
At the risk of sounding like a complete rube, by "greenlight", is it meant approve of?
lol I am lost too 🙂

Wow! I am sorry didnt fit you properly, but glad you shared this as I had no idea about this and taking my 21 year old autistic son in November 🙂 I hope you let them know so they can make adjustments 🙂

I agree what everyone else says, it would have been an on board credit. you should still be able to request a transcript of your sail n sign account and more than likely its on there as a refund. 🙂

As of yesterday, the inlaws say they are going to come with us, but it's a long 3 days between now and Monday when we are supposed to fly to Seattle. I will report back on Monday on whether we are travelling full occupancy or not. 😉
oh boy! I hope all worked out and you are getting ready to sail and will have soooo much fun!!!

We booked the October 28th Radiance sailing last week (we got a great deal with the Memorial Day sale). We were not offered onboard credit, nor were we offered the opportunity to change to the next week's cruise.
I wouldn't expect any compensation. Last month, Princess (which is owned by Carnival Corporation) opted to delay entry of one of its ships into service, and cancelled several months worth of sailings. This included our 17-day voyage to Hawaii -- and we had already purchased several airline tickets for family to join us. They weren't cheap (travel is around 4th of July), and they're on Spirit, so we can't change them. Meanwhile, Carnival Corp offered us a whopping $200 FCC per cabin as compensation...
Oh my goodness!!! I am so sorry and so awful! 😞

Sorry about this 😞 So I dont see it mentioning onboard credit to reschedule like they used to when cruises cancelled due to covid... is that in the rest of the letter? I am just curious.

Mine are usually there before I even step off the ship. Check for yourself as well 🙂 https://www.carnival.com/cruise-deals/vifp-future.aspx

Way off topic BUT WHAT??? Delta price matches now? Or do you mean you can just cancel and rebook using a credit?
you dont have to cancel... you can modify flight and if there is a cheaper flight you rebook it and get an ecredit:) If they change our flight more than an hour you can modify and get the difference back to form of payment

So is mine, nada.
what! Thats so not fair! I dont see anyything on carnival so I dont know the rules... someone posted and I tried it 😞

I looked first and didnt see this posted yet, Carnival has a Mothers day promo code, 20% of drink packages, internet packages, and excursions including ground transportation... so far everything I have tried. I cancelled my packages I bought before the price went up and rebought with code and still save lots of money! You just have to have the funds to cover untill you get the refund if have to cancel an item. If this is already posted I can delete 🙂 The code is MSPA22 ... I am not sure when it expires. Try anything in fun shops and spa.... hopefully it works for you!

I don't believe a 12 year old will qualify for anything other than a medical exemption (medically can't get the vaccine), but I could be wrong.
I have been reading as well as I have 6 year old twins and one has health reasons and other doesnt but neither vaccinated and I think the only reason is if have medical reasons

I went and called as I was charged 7.60 per person per day prebooking for our cruise in November for kids... apparently Freedom, magic and a few other ships have a higher cost. I didnt know that or do I know why lol. but could also explain why you were charged more currently for the premium one.
