  1. Thank you, some great comparison points! Can I please ask what your thoughts were of P&O MDR dinners compared to Princess MDR dinners on standard nights? Thank you
  2. Thanks for letting me know, I didn't know that! Has Pacific Adventure been sailing elsewhere and now coming to Aus, or will this be the first cruise on Pacific Adventure when she gets here? Thank you.
  3. Thanks so much Kathy, amazing post!
  4. Hi there, Would anyone have any photos of recent main dining room menus please? In particular dinners however would also love to see lunches. Have posted on P&O and Princess boards also but thought I'd check on here too, thank you!
  5. Hi there, Would anyone have any photos of recent main dining room menus please? In particular dinners however would also love to see lunches. Does Princess still offer high tea in MDR on sea days or anything similar? Thank you!

  7. Can you purchase a pass for Byron Bay if you're not in an eligible cabin type? Thanks
  8. Thank you very much for posting, looks to be more than fine for me, and atleast can see some daylight and the weather 🙂 Thank you!
  9. Hi All, I'm hoping for assistance please for someone who has cruised either or both ships that could please offer some insight on the ships and lines! My husband and I are in our mid to late 30's, enjoy good food and wine, and generally more of an older adult demographic than young families. I have cruised a number of times on P&O however this is going back quite a while ago before the modernization of the line (when it was still old school cruising fare). We are comparing a Princess cruise to New Zealand or a P&O cruise to South Pacific. We don't have much preference for the itinerary and deciding which ship experience would be best for us. There are some amazing photos of Pacific Adventure that looks fantastic although we wouldn't really use the waterslide facilities etc. We prefer to spend time by an adults pool (which both ships have), lounges etc. Is there much on offer on Pacific Adventure for an adult demographic? Is a bit more of a casual cruising experience now that old school P&O? Is the Grand Princess as grand as the images show? How does the MDR food compare on P&O to Princess? When we cruised P&O years ago we found the MDR dinners more bistro like than traditional cruise fare on Royal Caribbean/Celebrity/older 2004-2010 P&O cruises etc. Food is a very important part of cruising for us so we want to pick the best option for MDR food. We like the odd specialty restaurant here and there, however more interested in the included MDR meals as a deciding factor. Welcoming any feedback or insight, thank you very much for your time!
  10. Hi there, has anyone stayed in an obstructed oceanview on this ship and have photographs to show the lifeboat obstructions? in particular I’ve noticed there are some obstructed cabins that sit between one lifeboat to the right, one to the left, and may have less view obstructed. If anyone has any photos of these in particular this would be fantastic thanks! have cruised on other ships with obstructed views so have a general idea but just hoping to see how obstructed they are on this ship. thank you!
  11. I actually like the digital menu option, especially in light of covid and less touching would help stop the spread of illnesses (not just covid but gastro, bugs). Once you’re seated at the table, it’s hard to keep sanitised if you’re passing menus back and forth within passengers. Atleast this way you can safely eat if you touch your food (etc finger food, breads) while limiting the transmission of illnesses.
  12. Question about Cloud 9 Spa Thermal Suite Pass please: Have read some detailed info on the carnival main website(.com), however there’s a disclaimer at the end of the page saying prices/details not applicable for Australian cruises. For domestic/international cruises departing Australia, is there a choice of single day, multi day or cruise duration passes, like the regular US based itineraries? Is there a list of pricing available to review for the various options? What are the options for change of mind if choosing to upgrade from one day pass to a multi day pass or cruise duration pass, or alternatively downgrade from a multi day pass or cruise duration pass to a single day pass? Thanks!
