Hi all,
All bags are packed and ready to go. I hope I've planned well. I will have too much if we spend the day by the pool- won't need all the shorts and tops. But I think I did better than usual.
ourturn: thank you for your posting! It really helped reinforce my choices. I had 2 long gowns, but decided not to take them because I cannot get my husband into a tie. So this is our compromise- at least I got him on the ship, in a suit. 3 cocktail dreses wil have to do- along with sundresses. I live all summer in swimsuits and shorts.
See you at the CBar,Indiana. This has been fun! I've learned so much about outfits and packing. Hopefully, I will be back planning our girlfriends' cruise in October, 5 night cruise to Bermuda aboard the same ship- EOS.

Hi all,
Indiana, I"m glad you asked about the "dress" for a cold weather sailing! I had planned on a tan knit capri pants/matching zippered jacket for Sat, but I hate being cold. I don't know how much time it will take us to get on the ship, and if the area is enlosed? Are you wearing sandals? My DH will be in jeans- no shorts!
Glad to hear cosume jewelry- the variety makes it more fun! Inspired by you, I matched my jewelry with my outfits, even left some unneeded pieces at home
I have a beautiful, loving daughter who gives me great advise on skin care. We have an Estee Lauder Company Store in the Rehoboth Beach outlets- with their prices and her discount, I can usually buy what she recommends!
We sail in 3 days!Think warm!

Indiana, you are my inspiration! After reading your posts- I've developed my own spreadsheet. i've even matched my jewelry with my clothes- a first for me BEFORE a cruise. Bought a few more costume jewelry items to wear, will leave my really nice jewelry at home. What do you do- do you wear your best jewelry or costume?
I only use Estee Lauder products because my daughter is a planner for the company. I really like their sunscreen- very little smell, non-oily.My night cream is Time Zone- I think their products have really helped keep my skin looking smooth, and with foundation and blush, very few age spots show. Hope that helps- you can tell me if the products work when I see you this Saturday on the EOS. I'll tell you my age then! Can't wait to see you.

Here is a great way to see Old Town Nassau and learn a bit about its history. It takes in most of the sights you can pay for, but this one is free and all you need are some walking shoes.
Have a look at http://www.*****.com/nassau
It is one in a series of adventures on foot. The others are in Europe, but this one is made for the Bahamas.
Terrific! Thanks! I will use this- so much history and useful info!

I am reading "Fall of Giants" by Ken Follet- excellent, and will keep you busy all cruise. For fun, try Carl Hiasson's books!

You are the Fashionista! I have saile with you, and you are "put together" every day. Besides, you love talking about it until the day you sailed, Nancy! I loved reading your advice. I am sailing on the Enchantment with 3 girlfriends 11/12- cannot get a single person to respond to my thread. I enjoyed your company- and your fashion sense!
