    We've been in RS on

    Granduer
    Anthem
    Adventure
    Vision
    Enchantment
    Serenade (upcoming in August)

Suites with the two bathrooms are nice if you are traveling with 4 (like we usually do since we take our kids with us).  The Concierge walk aboard on smaller ships is really nice.  The Genie on larger ships is also very nice.  On Liberty the RS is right in the middle in the bump out like Adventure.  We liked the spot.  Unlike Anthem where it is like 1/2 mile walk from the elevator (exaggeration obviously, but it is far).....you also get a wide/long balcony which is nice for sitting out an watching the waves go by.

From my perspective, I am always willing to spend the extra on the RS no matter the ship, but I'm not like everyone else.

We're in it next week on Serenade!  we'll keep it nice for you 🙂

  2. We're flying from Toronto to Vancouver for our Alaska cruise next weekend.  Have our Costco test booked for Friday here in Ontario (2 days before boarding).  I'm nervous that Costco will not do the test for us as we're flying within Canada and the test is a cruise requirement.  Can anyone tell me that Costco will do the test for cruising only (no air flight to the U.s.)?

Was RoyalUp’d today for our cruise on Oasis sailing In two days-Sunday, Feb 23. Started out in a Grand Suite for 4 of us a few doors down from the rest of our family that are staying in a 2 bedroom Grand Suite. Bid the minimum on several cabins and won with $950 for a Crown Loft! We’re thrilled as we stayed in one for honeymoon and the kids have always begged to stay in one! Sorry, fam! See ya in the lounge, haha!

We won too! Same cruise.  We’ve gone from GS to Crown Loft for $950 CA or $680 US.  Very happy.  We got the accessible one for some reason, 1742. Nice big room and larger balcony! Score!

  4. I won an upgrade from a GS to a 1 Bed Aquasuite a couple years ago.  Just did the min bid too.  This is when the  program was just being rolled out, so I think that had a lot to do with my luck.  Currently waiting on my UP to come thru for the 23rd of Feb.  Not holding my breath.

LOL! We are pretty Disney efficient and AP holders. We once had a flight touchdown at 7am at MCO and made it to MK for a 9am opening (then with an 18mo and 4 year old)! My question was more about how early can I get off. 🙂

I've only done express walk off at FLL.  We lined up just after 6 (there were quite a few in line with us) and we got off around 6:30.  Customs was pretty quick.  We were able to make a 10am flight at FLL.

We were going to "Minnie Van" it over from Yacht Club to Animal Kindgom (about a 10 min trip that we have done before). Already have fast passes, but I was hoping to rope drop for Flight of Passage. I already did the online room check in, so I would just need to drop my bags and request the Minnie. Park opens at 9am that day and my thought would be that I would need to at least be off the ship through customs by 7:00. Just curious if that is at all possible.Lots of moving parts for sure!

Wow.  That's a lot to do solo, let alone with kids.  I'd recommend being at the park 1 hour ahead of opening to ensure ropedropping FOP.    I don't think you'd be able to do that.  Customs, traffic, bag check, so many variables.  Good luck.

  7. I've never done that, but just got back from 3 weeks at Disney--so I feel I can comment.  By the time you get to your hotel and drop off bags (your room may not be ready til 4 or even later).  You then have to catch a bus/monorail or other to the park, go thru bag check lines, ticket lines etc.  It's a busy lengthy process.  My advice (if you're asking) would be to get to the hotel, drop bags, have a nice lunch at the hotel and then go in.  If heading to the Magic Kingdom you'll be in time for the afternoon parade.  Hang around afterwards, as usually many exit the park at this time.  If you can, get fastpasses organized first.  This will save lots of time.

    Congrats!

The 1Bdrm is still Sky class yes?  Also do you know if it was showing available when you booked, or if there were any suites available?

We get on Harmony as you get off. Hope you have a great cruise.

No suites were showing as available and yes, still sky class.  We are seriously loving this suite.
