Thanks so much ladies for your input on what my colors might be.
It happened again yesterday when I showed up to a get together with friends in an outfit I bought before the whole color thing began and was told how great it looked on me!
It was pretty much a Clear Aqua as listed on the fire palette so after looking at myself in a few colors from fire I think I am actually a fire.
It is funny how things like lighting and personal coloring can be so confusing but I have learned a lot.
I will see you on the boards but I don't think I will be clogging up the Earth board with stuff any more LOL

I am beginning to wonder if I am a Fire not Earth?
I read the explanation over again and I don't have the dark green eyes but lighter green. I wish I knew the names of the celebs on the website so that I could Google them and see other pictures LOL I am so un-hip! LOL
I would love to get a personal consultation but it isn't in the budget at this time.
Anyone, can you give me a few more details on what differentiates Fire from Earth? It seems they are the same excepts for lighter eyes and general coloring?

For me, the biggest reason I might buy the soda card is that as a diabetic I avoid sugary drinks and that includes juice and lemonade on the ship and I don't drink tea or coffee so that leaves me with water as my only choice and as good as it is for me I prefer diet soda! LOL
I have brought on the Crystal Light packets and they work nicely too.

Margaret...I am very old school as my phone can take pictures but I have no idea how to send them to my computer as I have a very basic phone! LOL
I may go back and get the green/tan one but I am going to watch and see if they discount it more...I want it to be at least 50% off before I buy! LOL

When I was in Target this morning I found two very earth-y scarves that would be good to add some color to basic outfits.
One was on clearance for about $11 and the other $15...the $11 one was mostly a sort of green and lt tan animal type print with a gold metallic thread in it. The $15 one was browns, greens, tan and a sort of coral floral type.
Anyway if you happen to be in Target check them out.
I didn't have my camera or I would have taken pictures LOL

should have read the thread before posting the last one so that I could comment LOL
Anita- the black dress in question is solid black with small white polka dots. It is sleeveless, and since I don't wear sleeveless I will be wearing some sort of shrug anyway I wanted to pick one to work with my dress and add a good color to it...and it probably won't completely cover the neckline of black.
I was hoping a nice statement necklace would work since I am not a scarf person but I can learn to like scarves LOL!
lara- thanks for showing all the different garments that are earth. I love the rust or I guess the new fashion word might be clay...and the cream lace is very pretty and I love the lines on you, very flattering.
Thanks again for all of your help and examples everyone

Just posted a picture of my first attempt to do earth or fire colors...still not sure what I am yet.
It's in the thread discussing what about ice, air, fire and earth? (I am sure I messed up the title)

I have not seen mention of a computer (laptop or tablet or netbook or even smartphone) with all of the paper documents recommended here stored electronically. Saves lots of weight as well as trees. In addition, you can always take pictures of the various documents like the daily schedules or whatever and carry them home weightlessly. Also eliminates the need for extra camera memory cards.
:DThis is a great suggestion for people who scrapbook. I have a big envelope full of memorabilia from our last cruise and the book is finished and didn't have room to put them in!
My DH loved taking his GPS up on the top deck and finding our position too.

I will chime in and agree that the teal dress is very flattering and I can see you looking beautiful in the formal pictures!
Congrats on your weight loss and if you are bothered by your upper arms then you could wear a lace or lacy crocheted shrug in silver or gold if you would feel better.

Hi everyone again...soooo
If I am an earth and I have a dress that is mostly black and I can't replace it for my cruise...what is the best way to make it more flattering to me?
I was thinking of maybe some coral colored jewelry? I have to wear a shrug with it...I don't do sleeveless...so IF I could find a shrug in coral or another color any suggestions. Right now the shrug is black...yeah it IS very versatile LOL but not so good for my coloring.
Thanks for any suggestions

Welcome Teacher91 I am new too.
It was helpful to me to check out this site
http://fireiceearthandair.wordpress.com/2010/01/09/earth/
and scroll down a bit to get the theory of where you fall in the color ranges.
Good luck

I forgot to say that that is my DH and I think he might be my opposite LOL He had very blond hair before it went grey and fair skin with a pink undertone

I am new to all this color stuff but after looking at some of the links it seems I am an Earth.
The one thing that I have to wonder about is blue...I have been told lots of times that I look really nice in blues and not just the few that appear in the palette of Earth. My skin is definitely a warm undertone (doing the bathroom test) and my eyes are green with golden brown and sort of turquoise flecks so that says Earth. As for hair...I just think it is sort of a medium brown LOL but if I try and color it lighter it does pull red so I am guessing I have the red undertones.
I enjoyed the recent posts by Anita (?) and her every day dressing and then comments. I would love to know more about your Roatan excursion and if you have a link to the provider.

Your dress is lovely Jeannie and silver sandals would be perfect but if not then a pair in black would work out too.
Enjoy your dress whatever you decide to do

Just bought this dress at Nordstrom Rack, marked down to $89. Would love opinions...this is our first cruise, and wondering if it's formal enough for formal night on RC FOS.
That's a lovely dress and I think perfect for a formal night. But I am not Miss Fashionista! LOL

Kind of disheartening to hear that there is not ONE answer to the dilemma of cash and debit cards. We are c-card-less by choice and used cash on our last cruise but that was on RCL and they obviously have different rules.
Glad I have several month's to figure this out
Thanks for the comments if you have experienced this in person

It's so nice to see your girls dressing so appropriate for their ages.
They grow up so fast and there will be time enough to dress in "formals".
They both look darling in their dresses.
