I use the color printer at our library. No charge for patrons.

I want to buy ink where you shop. LOL🤣

We are going to St Maarten later this month and have heard a lot about Miguel’s hospitality. We plan on taking the water taxi over to GBB and wondering which stop to get off? Aside from the orange umbrellas, are there any other landmarks we could use to spot Miguel?

A little further away from the ship so it is usually a little less crowded. Sandy with a gentle slope. There’s a buffet close and restrooms. Quite a bit of shade.
Also, great view of the ship for a photo op. Love that it’s sandy rather than rocky like Adrelinine Beach.
Surprised no mention of the infamous ‘marketplace’. Personally, that’s one of the reasons we love Labadee so much. Over the years we’ve made so many purchases of wood carvings and they are happy reminders of the good times we have enjoyed. This native Brooklyn girl loves a bargain and the thrill of haggling!🤣

Heading on Harmony this month and interested in booking Chops+1. Honestly, dining in Chops on either of the first two nights isn’t really going to work for us. I’m interested in knowing if anyone has had experience in moving Chops to a different night or are they pretty strict on keeping it to the first two nights.
Thanks very much as it will ultimately influence our decision.

While I agree the Anthem is the more desired ship, I just took a look at the itineries. IMHO, the itinerary of the Enchantment is far more to my liking.

The times displayed on cruisemapper are usually GMT, not EST/local.
That would put them on the dock at 3:00 am, which isn’t likely.

We were there in October. As we stood in thigh-deep water, a 3 foot shark swam past us. Honestly, that took our minds off the jelly fish 🤣

We got ours four weeks ago on Harmony. We confirmed with the LA on Day 1 that it would be forthcoming. When we got to Day 6, and it had still not been delivered, we enlisted the help of the Diamond Concierge. It was delivered to our cabin that afternoon. Now that you are ashore, reach out to C&A.

One thing I don't like is the staff members asking for room numbers for things instead of swiping for cards. Even at the beginning of the cruise I thought it was weird but I'm definitely peeved about it now
last night in the casino, I was playing a slot machine and the man next to me was politely chatting. I'm too nice of a person so just be like "leave me alone" but I decided at this point to just go to bed. So I said "ok well I'm going to bed, have a good night" and the guy said to me "you know, you shouldn't give our your room number to people. I overheard your room number and now I know what room you are in and I'm a nice guy but some guys aren't."
idk this really spooked me, so I'm going to just walk around with a piece of paper with my room number on it to show staff members and basically run for the hills if I see this man again
Don’t they just ask for the deck number? IIRC, only the last three numbers of your cabin are printed on your Seapass

A man on the ship was behind the son in line at Guest Services and heard everything. The son was trying to settle their bill so he could leave.
I’m highly suspect that in the middle of an emergency evacuation of his parent, the son would be at guest services settling their bill. Their bill?? I doubt Royal would be holding them hostage for payment. This sounds more like a child’s game of ‘Telephone’.

Why not just do the rapid antigen test. We did ours at a local urgent care and had results in 10 minutes. CVS has proven to be very unreliable with frequent cancellations.- 2

There was this injured black bird on the Ovation Alaska cruise in September. We were in Juneau and it was very cold. The bird kept trying to climb up onto the platform but it just couldn’t. It obviously couldn’t fly and eventually it wobbled to a little space on the side of the platform and just sat there. I don’t know what happened to it after that. On another day, I found a small dead bird on the deck outside. If they are stowaways, it is just too cold for them.
What possesses someone to even take a picture like this🤔😔

We just got off Allure this morning. We stayed in a CP balcony and wandered around the park frequently. I noticed there were progressively more and more birds after each port. At two different times I observed birds that had crashed into glass and were stunned. I also saw birds frantically flying back and forth in CP in a futile attempt to get out. But, sadly, I saw no less than 6 dead birds around CP and The Boardwalk. Mostly they were the small yellowish birds.

Ours disappeared as well and the green check mark is there. I’m not concerned. Believe it or not, there are actually people out there that don’t have access to the internet. LOL. Just bring your card. I’m not worrying about this - I just want to get past this COVID test.

We'll wait until we are going thru the embarkation process to find out. Currently a moving target.
They didn’t wear them today when the Allure left PC

There’s almost more people watching than are on board. Bon Voyage. Thanks for bringing us along.

They were two ships chartered by Chik-fil-a. Filled to half capacity and no children. So, between the two ships, it was only the equivalent of one Oasis Class.

We’ve been to Labadee many times and love the experience of Nellie’s Beach. What would be a comparable beach at Coco Cay? Not interested in water parks or pools. Seeking a quiet beach with a sandy bottom.
I’m probably in the minority as I enjoy the artisan market at Labadee. Are there vendors at Coco Cay?
-
I wouldn't dream of staying on board. We have been there many, many times - from its early days of being a nearly deserted island until the present. We've collected many treasures from the local artisans and I look forward to bargaining with them each visit. It's a beach day like no other, but to each their own. It's your vacation to enjoy as you wish!

Such a difference in the entertainment for the 5 night cruise compared to the longer ones. I realize there isn't enough time. Just proof that 5 nights isn't enough time on Anthem to really appreciate what she has to offer.
Time and money constraints no doubt play a large part in the decision to take a 5 night voyage. No need to remind those passengers of the limitations. I'm certain they will enjoy every moment of their hard-earned vacation. The same can be said of passengers who solely sail from a single port or a limited class of ship leaving from said port.

Not tipping porters probably increases the odds of it getting lost considerably.
Is that just your opinion, or do you have actual proof in support of that statement? Do share!

I just checked the Compass. Day 3 was 70's Dance Party Groovy Town in the Music Hall. Day 5 was Island Night Dance Party in 270. Day 6 Silent Party. July Fourth fell on Day 7 and they held Salute to America that evening in 270. That event may have postponed a regularly scheduled White Party and/or Red. But during this voyage, there was no White Party or Red. We were very disappointed in the Island Party in 270. The pool deck would have been a more 'fun' venue.

We were on the 9 night two weeks ago and there was no White Party that I can recall.

Originally posted by Ship2Shore The explanation given was if the people with the standing 5:30 Early Seating don't show-up within 15 minutes, their table is given to MTD passenger overflow.
This can happen on any ship but is more likely on Quantum class due to the design of the ship and dining venue capacities.I was expanding and clarifying the consensus that those with MTD on Anthem were limited to two dining venues - American Icon and Silk. The poster was specifically inquiring about Anthem.
New "crown lounge" rule

Calm down people. First of all, the letter is from the concierge on Wonder. Wonder is hosting a special casino Signature guest sailing. If you read the entire letter, it references THIS cruise. I don’t believe this is anything more than reserving space for the high rollers.
Some people just love to spread gloom and doom. While others like to wish closure on ‘this stupid and useless crown lounge’ (you know who you are). 😉
To the rest of us, carry on!
