  1. We were on Panorama, and our stateroom steward explained that often times the robes were not being utilized by guests. So they bring them to your stateroom by request now. We requested ours on embarkation day, and we them in a few hours. These robes had really short arm lengths. 😁
  2. Yes you absolutely can order as many as you’d like. Just got off the Panorama on Saturday. I only ordered one lobster tail, but the waiter brought me two! I happily ate them both!😂 On other nights, we ordered 2 apps, then an entree. But we never had dessert. (No more room in the tummy)☺️
  3. @tytanbri We just got off of the Panorama this past Saturday. We carried one large can of Lysol in our carryon bag. There was no issue for us. Forgive my ignorance, I guess I never saw where this is not allowed. I tried to locate the information in carnival’s website where is states that aerosol cans are not allowed. But I failed to locate that information.
  4. We just returned on Saturday. And I agree with the previous poster. We were sent to the Vista restaurant each and every time. Sometimes the 3rd floor, sometimes the 4th floor. It will say it the carnival hub app what floor your table is on.
  5. I did not use this feature on our last cruise. However, I habitually swipe up to close open apps on my iPhone. And I kept getting this message in my notifications center whenever I closed the app. (See photo) I kept wondering if that meant I would not get texts messages from others in my group, if in fact we did purchase the $5 text feature. Can’t say for sure. I read a few messages on CC in relation to some persons not receiving messages from others in their group. So I thought I’d post this, just in case it might be a plausible reason why some were not receiving messages in a timely fashion. If it’s not helpful, feel free to disregard. 😊
  6. Old tradition: 1. lunch, 2. unpack, 3. iron all clothes in an empty launderette😳, 4. muster drill, New tradition: (just started Aug 2022) 1. muster station (soooo quick and efficient!), 2. lunch at Pig and Anchor, 3. check for life vest under the bed, 4. unpack wrinkled clothes and put ‘em right in the closets/drawers! I shall never again iron another stitch of clothing when we cruise! Never ever! 😂
  7. Once onboard, you can use the Carnival app to “check in” for your desired dining time. The wait was usually about 5-10 minutes. But what’s nice is you are able to wait anywhere on ship. (stateroom, balcony, bar, etc.) When your table is ready, you’ll be notified within the app and given a table number. You can then tap the “on my way” button, and you’ll have about 10 minutes to make your way to the MDR. It helps to avoid crowding at the MDR entrance.
  8. No, we’re weren’t. I saw the notice on the table, however the person didn’t mention anything. He only looked at our boarding passes, Covid test results, and immunization cards. He scribbled something on each boarding pass, and we were moved along.
  9. We just got off the Panorama today ☺️. (Mexican Riviera) We choose self disembarkation. They called us by our muster station, but they did not call in alphanumeric order. So it was not easy to tell which stations they would call next. We were in the fourth grouping called, made our way to the parking garage, and confirmed our Uber at 10:30 a.m. It then took 10 minutes for the Uber driver to make it through the traffic to get to us in the terminal pickup location. We stayed locally so I don’t have information on how long it would take to get to LAX. Hopefully your friend makes it to her flight in time - with little, to no stress at all.
  10. It must have been an IT issue for us. We checked in at the terminal, and did not have to resubmit the assessment.
  11. We just noticed that we have on board credit assigned to our stateroom. It’s a small amount, $23.64 to be exact. But we wondered where it came from. I looked at our cruise ticket that I printed a few weeks ago, and I did not see any OBC. Any clues as to where it might have come from?
  12. We received an email to complete the health assessment yesterday. We completed it, so it was crossed off in the planner. We received another email asking us to complete the health assessment today. Since we sail out tomorrow, I decided to look at the planner again, and it now says we need to complete the assessment at the terminal. 😲
  13. We took our tests today. We signed into the zoom call five minutes before the call started and they let us in at the exact time of our appointment. The two of us took our tests, and were done in less than 15 minutes. The young lady said that we would get an email in about an hour. We had the PDF results emailed to us 10 minutes later! ☺️ Gratefully the cruise lines are making changes to their protocols, so we will not have to test in future. But If there was a reason that we had to do a Covid test to travel in the future, we would choose Onpoint once again. it was a simple, streamlined process!
  14. We will be sailing on the Panorama. Which dining room should we go to for “Your Time Dining” once we check in on the app? Would it be Vista restaurant or Horizon restaurant?
  15. We purchased the tele-service with OnPoint yesterday, for our August 27th cruise. Immediately after the purchase, you’ll receive your order number, and will be asked to set up the appointment. (plenty of time slots) And just like ‘schoifmom’, we had to be sure we chose the correct time zone as well. That’s important. I communicated with OnPoint via the chat on their website. Here’s what I learned: They can accommodate up to 4 paid patients per appointment. (with one proctor, in one time slot, same video call link.) You just have to buy the tele-service for each person, and then register each person within the patient portal ahead of the appointment. After you register each person in the portal, you’ll receive a confirmation code that you will give to the proctor during the appointment. We also found this video helpful when we deciding to use OnPoint for our upcoming virtual pre cruise Covid test.
  16. I was able to find our booking on the website just now. Also, I checked the Covid-19 legal notices. There are no updates there, at least not yet. I‘lll check back later.
  17. Wholeheartedly agree! This would be a dealbreaker for us. Speaking of…how does one do a search to find out if the cruise they are looking to book has been chartered by a large group? Sorry to go off topic! ☺️
  18. Hopefully you get all of your results in time. Our cruise is in August. The only test available at cvs, and Walgreens, etc. in our area is the PCR test. We cannot find a place to do rapid antigen tests. We are nervous that we will not get them back in time also.
