Sharon, Bill got voted out of office last night. This president is a first class jerk and they do not like Bill as he does not dance the same tune, by not going out drinking and smoking with them. Bill is relieved, but he would have preferred to go out on his terms and not theirs.

Bill can put together the grill without the new door, as it will take a few weeks to arrive. It is the left door and he can put every thing else together without the door.

So now my jerk is going back on Sunday so I have to put up with him until then. But then in a few weeks he will be back for good.

Bocce starts next Wednesday and Bill and I are running the event. It is a long summer and hopefully we will have good weather without rain outs.

I hope you have a real good time today coming into the city for your restaurant tour today. That sounds like you should have a good time today.

Sharon, well now that is Bill's job to put the grill together. He took it out of the box yesterday and laid out all of the parts. It turns out that the door for the grill underneath the burners is damaged and all bent up. So he called today to order a replacement. He can still put it together without the door and put it in once it arrives. Today was just too hot to do anything. Tomorrow storms. So we shall see when he starts the job.

So back to the grass cutting once again of another season. Four hours is a very long time. I hope you can get your skin protected much better, as you do not want to have any skin issues.

I am glad that you saw a good show on Sunday. It is also good that you were invited to go out tonight with a woman's gathering and best yet to have a few to go with and enjoy the evening.

Once I got home yesterday after running the GK's around after school and getting them something to eat. We went out ourselves to get something to eat.

So next Wednesday is the start of another season of Bocce. I had to think real hard of coming back that is another year of the place closing as this is the third year of saying that. So we are running it once again. Last year we finished 3rd and the year before we finished first. So who knows where we will end this year.

Tomorrow night we have our monthly meeting for the theater guild we belong to. It is election time and there a few trying to stab Bill in the back and push him out of his office. So we shall see how many friends he has and if he can muster the votes to stay in office.

Sharon, agreed that we were not on that ship. From what I had seen with all of the water every where, they said they were offering full refunds. I know for me that would not even come close to to a proper compensation. Maybe a full year of cruising might come close.

So what show did you end up seeing? Wow, only you and another couple. I guess Sunday afternoon is not very popular for shows.

Is it this Thursday you are going on a downtown Chicago restaurant tour? How many places are you going to tour?

Fully agree about volunteering, as we did that for 5 out of the 6 shows. Since I was on the MS walk Bill went to get certain stuff all set up and then he left. There is no way we were going to get caught up in the breaking down of everything after the show. You have some who just leave and then there are others that do not do their shear of the work. Then someone else gets stuck with the burden.

So once I got home from the walk we went out to buy a brand new grill. Most were all put together as most people want that. But there is no way we could have gotten a all put together grill in the back of my vechel. Some had P/U trucks and that was easy. So the only way we could get 1 was in a box. As far as delivery, they were going to charge $79.00 and it would have been a 12 hour time line as they did not offer anything else. So I guess they were telling us you do not want delivery with that option. This new grill is all stainless steel, so it should last a very long time.

I know you love DWTS, so enjoy watching it tonight. Once we got home I did nothing else except do our last cook out on the grill that we already have. At least the weather was much nicer than they said it would be.

Sharon, it turned out to be a real nice day today with no rain at all, like they said it would be. It was a perfect day for the MS walk. So I got home around 11:30. Now we will go an try to find a new grill for outside. Then maybe I will do some work outside as well.

Last night we got home around 10:30, as we went and got something to eat before the show rather than after the show. Good news is that today is the last day of the play and we will not be working there. Always the last performance when they break everything down. You have those who do all of the work and those who do not do their part or nothing at all. It is so unfair, so the best way to avoid this situation is just not show up at all and save the aggravation.

I am going to try to enjoy this day today, as tomorrow I am back to the bump and grind. Maybe I will get lucky and he will go back to Florida. After all he will be back for good Memorial Day weekend. It is early this year.

Did you see that cruise ship that had a broken water pipe and water was every where.

Sharon, Bill has been trying to get back to where he should be. The trip and with all of the bad weather really delayed him. Last night we got home after midnight. We got a little delayed in leaving just after intermission. So then we went to get something to eat and I think that is why we got home so late.

Yes, I can see why you had such a complete day with going to the bunco party. How did you do and I am sure you had a real good time.

Around here as it is held on the first Saturday of May every year. It is called the Good Neighbor Day Parade. It starts at 2. Bill works it as crowd control. So he has to be there at 1:30 and works about 3 hours. Then tonight we will go for our last play. Hopefully we will get home much earlier tonight. Tomorrow I have the MS walk.

I do not think that Bill will get the hot tub working this weekend with us being so busy. But hopefully sometime this week he will be able to do that. It will not be too far off, but I see we leave for Saugatuck on 5/25, where has the time gone so fast.

As far as the Jerk goes, I have no idea why he is staying so long. He was only supposed to come in and see the new baby and stay a few days and return. He comes back for good on Memorial Day Weekend.

Sharon, sorry I have been gone for a few days. Tuesday I had a rip roaring headache and I only worked 1/2 a day. I took off totally Wednesday. The jerk is back and these headaches have gotten worse. I am OK today but the last 2 days I was off and in bed.

Well that is good that you are enjoying the ballroom dancing. Even though these men really do not know how to dance. Also good that they fixed the problem so you can continue Zumba.

Yes, Bill flew stand-by, he has so much seniority that he is the first one getting called with all of the other stand-byes. However with all of the storms on Wednesday he really had problems getting home. The plane was really delayed and it got tossed around as well. What he says, if he cannot get first class then an exit row or bulk head is just as good, and that is what he got.

Wow you are very lucky with the dentist as I am like you where I need something to take the edge off the work being done.

I just knew that when DWS is on that you will be watching it somehow.

So tonight once I get home from work we will leave for the play and leave after the intermission as well for tomorrow. Sunday we will not go. I have a MS walk on Sunday as my son has MS.

Well back to the cutting of the grass once again. Be real careful as I saw on the news that ticks are going to be real bad this year.

Sharon, supposed to be even warmer today, like in the mid 80's. I would think that we are totally safe now to be planting flowers with this warm spell. We went from winter to summer with no really in-between.

Well that was a good thing that they did call you before you went up to the class. I wonder how long it is going to take for them to fix the problem? But that was good that you were able to go to the dealer and to drop off the rest of the stuff on the trade in.

Wow, you are very brave to have the dental work done without having any nova-cane at all. I know I do not think that I could have done that.

Bill leaves tomorrow for Denver just for the day. He will take the very first plane out and return around 6:30.

Sharon, that sounds like it will be a lot of fun going to different places for dinner each and every month. If nothing else, there should be good company.

So it is nice getting home today at 6 rather than 11:30. So now we are finished until next Friday and Saturday night. They had a very good crowd for today's performance. So we ate around there once we left shortly after the intermission.

Well around here it still did not get as warm as they said it would get. Only a high in the 50's. Last night it hit record lows around here. But I did hear that we are in store for a big warm up this week.

You have been good at doing puzzles as well. Start another and once you are finished I thought you once said you would donate them to a home of some sort.

Bill is going to Denver for the day on Wednesday. To try and get things set up for a hotel for the 2019 convention.

Sharon, I am glad that you were able to talk the salesman down $1000 to seal the deal for your new car. It is always nice to have that new car smell. Plus now you have piece of mind about your own personal safety.

Yes, agreed yesterday was just blustery cold with the high winds out of the northeast once again around here. We have bright sun today and I would expect a better day as far as the temps goes.

So last night we actually went in and saw the entire show. So due to the fact from seeing the show we did not get home until after 11:30. So this afternoon show is at 2, and from now on today, and next Friday and Saturday, we will leave just after the start of the second act. This show is a period play set in the 1930's Germany, and in a Kit Kat Klub and in and around Germany.

Today will be a fast day as I have to get things into gear and get there early as it is a 2 pm performance. I think we will get something to eat around there after we leave the theater so that will count for out dinner later on today.

Sharon, I have never heard of that system that is on your dashboard. But it was very lucky that you were able to get home OK and once home to have it towed. So now you were able to make a deal on a brand now one. What did you get a 2018 or a 2019? Also I have never heard of heated wiper blades before either. But it does make sense if your windshield is all iced up, then the heated blades would help to clear it away much faster. So I would say you did real good to get your car back home and then to get a brand new one as well.

Yes, I could understand about getting all of those pine cones picked up so it does not ruin your mower. Maybe over the next few weeks they will start to cut back and you will not have too many more to pick up again.

So this morning I went to WW and unlike you I gained .4. But I know what happened. I had too many chocolate martinis this past week. It was a rough week at work and that helps me along. Also this morning we went to a Boy Shout pancake breakfast.

But around here it is very windy and cold and blustery this morning. It is not a nice day for being outside today.

Last night we got home around 10:30. Tonight we will actually see the show, but it should be much later getting home as last night we left right after the intermission.

That sounds like a very good deal on your blacktop and putting down the tar. We have ours done every other year or once every 2 years. They want to wait for warmer weather and for the temps to get much warmer.

Sharon, it was a real nice day yesterday. Today lots of sunshine but a real stiff wind out of the northeast, so it is much colder around here today. So you are right about the winds coming off the lake. The lake is still very cold.

Wow, that sounds like you had another complete day yesterday. Is this your first time in the pool? I think Bill will not open up the hot tub until sometime in May. Speaking of May the first day is next Tuesday. Bill is flying to Denver for the day on Wednesday to get things lined up for the 2019 convention.

So Bill is 1 of the producers for this upcoming play starting tonight. The play is Cabaret The Musical. So yes, we are working tonight as Bill runs split the pot and I do concessions. We will actually see the play tomorrow night. Then Sunday it is a matinee performance. Next week it runs again so we will do Friday and Saturday, but not Sunday. After the last performance they breakdown everything. So we do not get involved in that stuff.

So shortly you will be cutting the grass once again. We had ours cut last Tuesday. So how long do those pine cones fall? I am sure you are speaking from experience about those pine cones.

Sharon, I know around here it did not even come close to what they said it would be yesterday. In the morning it was 41 and in the afternoon it was only 48 with a very stiff wind that made it feel much colder. Today a totally different story as it is supposed to go to the 60's.

Wow, if I did what you did yesterday I would have been totally spent. You sure did a lot of things yesterday.

I never thought of that for a reason for Carson's closing. Like you I like to try things on at the store. I am really not big on ordering cloths on-line. But I would imagine that most stores are having the very same issue with people doing most of their orders on-line.

So this weekend we will be at our theater working and actually seeing the show on Saturday night. Friday and Saturday at 8 shows and on Sunday the show is at 2.

Sharon, they told us that they take them back to their warehouse, as there are folks who are in the market for used mattress. I know for sure I would never buy a used mattress. Whoever gets the one we sent back with get an almost brand new mattress at a fraction of the cost. Judging by the way our backs have been doing, tells us having a good mattress is so very important as well as getting a good nights rest. So Bill did real good in getting this mattress with such a long trial on it. Also we did not know how many different mattress places there are out there until you go looking for them.

Yes, perhaps we have finally turned the corner with this weather. It has been a real nice day today for a change.

Were you surprised to hear the news that Carson's is going out of business? I know I certainly was.

Hello I hope you all remember me. My name is karen I got a bad virus all thru my computer and had to get another computer and had trouble getting loged back on . I missed this thread. You are both so much more active than I am it is inspiring to me. Is anyone still going to WW? If so I wonder how you like the new plan?

Of course I remember you. Glad to have you back. I go to WW on Saturday morning, and I have not reached my goal just yet. I have been loosing some little by little, so I hope to keep that trend going.

Sharon, we just about had the place to ourselves last night. It is always nice to go out and have someone else do the cooking.

I am glad to hear that your GS made it back home OK. As you said, he sounds like a person who knows how to take care of things, so it should last him a very long time.

I hope the weather has finally turned the corner and should be getting nice each and every day. I think today it could go to the 60's.

Wow I had no idea that you were doing the Zumba 4 days a week. I should say so that is more than enough to be doing that. Since the weather is getting better, then walking or ridding a bike will be an other good exercise.

So we sent back the new mattress that we bought and got our $1,000 back. So now Bill has gotten this new mattress that has gel memory foam. It has a 365 day trial. If we are not satisfied then we can have it picked up for free, and they delivered it for free. But even thou it has only been a couple of weeks, neither of us has had any back issues.

Sharon, wow that was such a very long time to be working on the truck. Also a very long drive as well. Good for him to be stopping and resting for the night and then getting up and finishing the drive tomorrow. He sounds like a real talented person.

Well it turned out to be a very nice day today as far as the weather goes. Rain forecast for the middle of the week. Maybe we have turned the corner as far as the weather goes.

It will feel good for you to get back to the Zumba classes tomorrow and to get back into the routine. What do you do the class 2 times per week?

Sharon, so now your GS is headed back today after he had fixed the truck? He must be very talented to have the ability to do that. So how long will it be for him to dive home, something like 8 hours? I would think as long as he does not push it he should be OK. With that breaking down it was just that time to happen. There is no one who could have foreseen that happening. It was just luck that it happened before he actually got on the road.

So last night we had a real good time. This was a package deal for $48.00 you got dinner 2 wines and the show. So all in all I thought it was a great deal. We got home just before 11.

Today is a much better day as far as the weather goes. Today around here it could go to the 50's. I do not think we will get any rain until mid week.

So next weekend and for 2 weekends the guild we belong to is putting on a play called Cabaret the Musical. Bill is 1 of the producers.

Sharon, is your GS headed back home today? How was dinner at the dance place last night? For me my 1 friend picked me up and drove us there. She is on the same page as me with this group. Since it is my BD today we kind of celebrated it last night. But as far as they go, everything is about the same.

Kind of a cool day today as far as the weather goes. It did not get as warm as they said it was going to be today.

Tonight we are going to see a play that friends of our are in. It is a dinner and play special. So we can get there and have something to eat before the show. The show starts at 8 so we will not be home until sometime around 11. We are going out to eat for my BD on Monday and I will get the BD discount.

So how long of a drive will your GS have going back as far as hours driving time? I am sure you will have him call you once he make it back.

Yes, Saturday should be a perfect day as far as the weather goes for the race. For me tonight I am going out to eat with all of the girls from bunco. I told you that I have quit the group with all of the this and that was going on and getting too click. But we still are getting tougher once in awhile.

Sharon, yes we do get a discount on our auto insurance but so does everyone else who takes the course. It is a incentive to get people in to take the course. It is a 2 day course and 4 hours each day.

Well that will be good going to the horse fair tomorrow. You are right about the weather, as it should be even better than today. Also good that you made it home safely, and also good that you did not get much snow. We only got a dusting, and it was only on the grassy areas. All is gone now.

So how did you do today with the truck, putting on 4 new tires and having it all checked out to assure it is in good working order?

You want it a little cool for the runners, not too cool. So Saturday should be good weather for him. He will be driving the course, so not really outside unless something comes up.

Sharon, good for you in doing the float and to purchase more to tryout. It will be good to try both, what you did and then the pod the next time to see the one that will work best for you.

So I hope you were able to get your GS before the weather gets real bad. You are supposed to get much more than us around here. Thus far all we have been getting is rain. But the bad stuff for around here is supposed to come in after 7. So you should be able to get the tires installed and for them to go over the truck and make sure it is in good working order. It would be nice for him to say for a few days and let the weather get better. If he could stay it would be nice to take him to horse fair. I remember that you go to it every year.

Bill taught a AARP safe driving course today. Then on Saturday he will be managing the course race in Chicago for the Lakefront 10 miler and 5K race. So hopefullly the weatehr will be much better than it has been.

Sharon, that does sound like a very good deal for the 4 tires. Once you get the over heating problem fixed then he should be OK to drive it back home. How far of a drive will he have?

I figured that you would get much worse weather than we did here. So we only got rain over the weekend and snow this morning, but it melted as soon as it hit the ground. But I can tell you this, with the high winds it is down right raw out there. So you were able to get out today and go to Zumba. I sure hope everything is good for your drive to Madison tomorrow.

So with you picking up your GS on Wednesday I would think that you will not be going out dancing that night. When is he driving back? If he is staying a few days then you should have a nice visit. What are his plans for the truck once he gets it back home?

Over the weekend we only got rain. Woke up this morning to snow, but it did not amount to anything as it has stopped already. But my aunt in Oshkosh is snowed in they got so much snow.

So Wednesday your GS is coming in. I thought you had said that is Mom is coming as well. Is that still the case?

So if we were getting this light snow today, I am sure you are getting much worse. So perhaps you will not go to Zumba this morning. So tomorrow you will be doing the float. Let me know how it went. I am very interested to hear how it went.

I am hearing that Boston is getting heavy rain. So it will not be good weather for the marathon today. Once that Nor Easter moves in things are not going to be good at all.

Sharon, just a lazy weekend. I only had my nails done yesterday and I did nothing else. Today about the same. I laid down for a few hours and it is just terrible outside. My aunt in Oshkosh just sent me a picture of all of the snow they are getting. She said it has been snowing for 3 days now.

Yes, moth balls. Now why could I have thought of that. I was just drawing a blank.

So how was your dinner at the Mose Club? I did not no that you had been to that distillery place before. Then to have the owner remember you is also very good as well. Only paying $5.00 is a real good deal.

We have some friends running the Boston Marathon tomorrow.

I cannot imagine people not knowing how to dance at all. But I guess that is why they have places like that for those who do not.

This is good weather to be just staying inside. I really cannot be thinking of Spring when it is like this. Stay warm and dry.

Sharon, I do remember you telling me about the line dancing group being so very clickie. Who needs that type of crap going on. So this ballroom dance group does not sound like a very organized group, if the men cannot dance at all. It sounds like a real cluster.

Do you have a GPS? If so then just put in the address of the place and let it guide you there. We are always using our GPS to take us places. I would be very interested to find out about how your experience at the float place.

Boy were they way off with the weather today. Yesterday they said it could go to 70 around here, but it never even come close. Only in the 40's and with the wind even colder. Then it started raining heavy at 4. So not a very nice day at all.

That is too bad about your flowers. Someone once told me that putting down, and I am drawing a blank just now. These are those balls that you put in closets. Help me out here. Anyway when we figure this out, putting those down may keep the deer away. But the damage is already done.

Wow that friend of your's is so luck being totally paralyzed and now to be walking and getting ready for rehab.

It is always nice to try new places. This place sounds like something we would be interested in viewing and watching them process the vodka.
