I checked the "promo sale" price and it's $974 more than the price when we booked a couple of months ago. Doesn't include $300 lbs we received.

The coffee makers were brought in on the first day - our room steward said we were the first cruise to get them. We didn't use it all but it looked like a nice machine......came with some coffee pods but no cream/milk/sugar so was just as easy to go to either the Lido or the Neptune Lounge to get our caffeine fixes!
Thank you for responding. Glad they are in the suites now.

Thanks for the review. The Eurodam is our favorite ship and glad you enjoyed your cruise. A few years ago we booked a Panama canal cruise, but sadly because of a hurricane in that area, they redid itinerary and we ended up in montego bay. Agree with your assessment, we also disliked it.
Question, do you remember if you had a coffee maker in your suite?

Thanks for posting. This sounds like the standard upsell letter we have received. A good reference for everyone.
What I find to be interesting, also, is the CND exchange is a mere 30%.
Agree, it's currently 1.38 Canadian dollar on exchange rate to $1 US.

Seriously? It's called budgeting, or spreading the cost out. I don't think purchasing something a few months or weeks in advance is anywhere in the same realm as withholding for taxes. We're not talking big money here.
Agree and we do the same thing.

Preparing for my first HAL cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. Any advice on the earliest time to arrive at the port on the morning of the cruise?
Sent from my SCH-I435 using Forums mobile app
Normally they open for boarding at around 11:30.
You will find several hundred people there around 11:00 waiting to board ship. It usually only takes a couple of minutes to get checked in, so rest of your time depending when you get there will be sitting and waiting.

Decided to get outta dodge early. Changed flights to friday afternoon and spending a couple of dats with friends in jupiter.
Great move.
One cruise I remember being on was a Priness ship. It waited as a plane from Buffalo was arriving late from bad weather. Turns out it was several Bills football players on the plane. They had hundreds of fans for a group cruise.

Nothing about the coffee makers.

I did notice when they were refilling, the container said "Tetley English blend".

Thank you Kazu for the awesome job you do here. Merry Christmas!

For several reasons, we have had several dinners in the lido on our last 3 cruises.
We found it to be very nice. Food was good to very good. Actually if you count the pasta bar (which I had a few times), you have more entre options than dining room. Deserts were also very good. They have staff who come by tables for assistance if needed. We found service to be superior to the rushed dining room staff.
The second formal night we dine in our room as that is lobster night and it's not available in the lido.

We were on the Eurodam a couple of weeks ago and very happy to report the pinnacle grille was open every morning for breakfast. That's a first for us in a few years. Our favorite was the last day, knowing the cruise was over, we still had an enjoyable breakfast there before getting off the ship.

Thank you so much. Looks like I will be adding another one shortly... :)
Please add the following:
Eurodam November 26, eastern Caribbean.
Thank you!

Just got off the phone with HAL and did the switch. The upgrade was only $30.00PP. Thank you all.
Great! I hope you enjoy your new cabin.

You should decide what you really want, but we love the aft cabins. Deck 7 is also a great location. You get a nice "rolling" affect in the back of the ship. Hope you enjoy your cruise on the Eurodam, it's our favorite ship!

happy to add this one for you. :)
Thank you so much. Looks like I will be adding another one shortly... :)

Noticed a shortage on our cruise too. They used to have mixed berries available for ice cream topping for dinner on the lido. They had it the first night, none the next night. I asked and she said they were all out.

Eurodam, 12.3.16. Western Caribbean

Thank you! I wonder why there is a gap vs continuous.
They are separate sections. Many ships are like that.
-
We were on Eurodam once during spring break. Never saw anything offered that you referenced from princess. I remember seeing a couple dozen teens that week with families, but nothing extra for them to do.
-
On the Eurodam last week and I ordered 3 drinks at once on my card with no problem. All were deducted from my account.
-
As stated above, very similar ships. Eurodam is our favorite, Westerdam next. Don't know if it's just luck or circumstances, we enjoy and found the staff and service to be top notch on the Eurodam.
Would go on either anytime.

We just returned from the Eurodam and here is my assessment:
Breakfast is very good, wide assortment and most items were edible. Omelet station is still worth standing in line for. We are there 4 mornings, pinnacle grill 3 mornings.
Lunch is very good. Hit and miss on fish. Either very good or bad. We ate there 4 days and dive in twice.
Dinner was very good. Pasta station was my go to place. Usually about half the items that were on DR menu were served. We ate there 4 times, DR once, room service once, Dive in once.
In general, I dislike buffets and never eat at them, however I have no problem eating there on HAL.

Yes, we were in 7132 corner aft and it was a great cabin. Booked it again next year.
