We really liked the Anthem but I do have to agree about all the real estate they gave those expensive shops. That was amazing to us. The dining rooms sure could have used that space. It was very cramped in the dining rooms except for Devinly Decadence.
Thank you destiny angel [emoji2]
The bird at the hublot / Bvlgari shop looked bored all the time .....

By which time I believe they had ditched the idea and reverted to normal menus....
Well actually ..... not exactly.
There were still dishes from each of the other restaurants in the ones you were eating in.

Looks to be the case. According to Thomson's Facebook all 5 ships will operate under the Thomson Cruises brand.
They will indeed :)

Hardly any pool deck. There's in outdoor pool deck and there's an indoor pool deck, not to mention the Solarium multi-level infinity pools.
For a ship of this size, it seems miniscule. I'm talking about the main outdoor pool area ...... not all the covered places. Compare that to the likes of oceana, britannia etc. Just saying.

Think they've changed it to Marina di Carrera on several dates. They did that on a few occasions last year for the IE too. Possibly something to do with La Spezia being a naval port.
They still don't seem to know sheila ....

I messaged the FB team and they have confirmed that it is an extra sea day. Don't know how we stand on this as our booking clearly states La Spezia on day 5, and as others have said, no information from Thomsons. I will be popping into TA next week!
You need it from the horses mouth really.

Sadly haven't been on arcadia since 2010 hammo ...... strange that I look familiar though .... I quite like that :) .
Searching for an arcadia cruise though, but due to my girlfriends holidays, it causes a bit of a nuisance.

What dates are we talking?
Most by the sounds of it.

Not according to Thomsons website, I did a dummy booking for my cruise in August and it clearly states 2 sea days.
Oh really ? ..........
I'm just going by what other people on the "other" site said.
I stand corrected.

I booked the Discovery Med. secrets earlier in the year on Discovery, and looking at the Thomson booking website for this cruise, La Spezia has now been taken out with no alternative and it shows 2 sea days. I am very disappointed as I have been on many Thomson cruises and choose them for their ports of call. 2 sea days on a 7 day cruise is obviously a cost cutting exercise and I have sent a strongly worded email to Thomson asking if I will be getting any compensation ?
Didn't someone say they're stopping at la marina ... or something like that ?

Aha !! You're on here now !!

Not sure pensioncruiser .......
Someone else mentioned it was a naval port ...... Maybe on standby ?

Just been reading elsewhere about the Thompson Discovery losing a port day on a 7 day cruise.
The port is La Spezia.
Does anyone know the reason for this?
A lot of disgruntled people !

Well that's a real turn up for the books.
I actually like dynamic classic as I do like having the same waiting staff :)

OMG ..... Did that actually happen then ? The word was ..... it was going fleet wide !

What's in the Boleros that you always return to? Are there any venue for ballroom dancing? Thanks.
It was the disco at the end of the night ........ and me performing karaoke of course :)

Incidentally ....... this post is an opinion ......
And mainly architectural points.
For instance. They used to cover the ice rink to perform the "quest" show where everyone sat in a comfortable tiered arena. It didn't work properly in the sea plex as no one at the back could see properly.
And they've decided not to do dynamic dining on the other ships now ...... can't think why !!
(I actually enjoyed my dynamic classic).
But surely the most advanced ship on the fleet should have had cordless mics on karaoke !!!
I thought I was in Ronnie Scotts club in the 70's lol
