And yes, smoking space on the Lido effectively seals off the port side area with standing room only at times. The casino and aft are likewise cloudy. For the first time in many many cruises the promenade deck, port, has many smoking visitors.

The new policy is a bust and literally not enforceable. Had less problems with the old policy as IMO 90% of the balcony's were never used.

From the Emerald Security; smell means nothing. Offender must be seen by crew and/or security with a lit cigarette.

The supposedly secret doors on Lido deck get mentioned alot but I don't think anyone has mentioned the doors on the forward part of Emerald deck that lead out to the upper Promenade. They don't show on the Deck Plans and I stayed in that area on a number of cruises before finding them. If you are in the forward section of Emerald deck they are a great quick access to outside during the day. They have a very high sill.

A word of caution here. Those railings are seldom cleaned and are caked with salt. Leaning on them with bare forearms can cause a really good burn.
