Yes, it was in 3D. They didn't have enough glasses for the amount of seating so I suggest getting there early. A lot of people left that didn't have glasses after the movie started and they realized they needed them.

Any one if "How to Train your Dragon 2" is playing on either ships?
They played it on the Oasis on our June 7th sailing.

We stayed at Comfort Suites Airport and Cruise Port last September for $89/night. Beautiful hotel close to port, they did have a shuttle but we had a rental car so we didn't use it. We booked through sunny.org which I believe it Ft. Lauderdale's tourism site.
A recent review states that they no longer offer the shuttle to the port.

We actually live in Florida so I know that hotels can be more expensive since so many snowbirds like to travel here during the winter to escape the snow. :D
All we care about is just having a inside access hotel without having to pay hundreds of dollars just for a overnight stay when we are passing by just to board a cruise ship. We don't travel to south florida that offen so we were quite surprised that hotels are so much more expensive down there compared to Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando. We live in North Florida.
Someone suggested we try the Port st. Lucie area which is about 1 hour away.
We stay at the Fairfield Inn in Fort Pierce, which is about an hour away. We come from North Georgia. I hope this helps.

Our favorite drink using the Royal Replenish Package was the Blended Ice Mocha.
What ships have these? I didn't see them on the Oasis recently.

I enjoyed a few frozen lemonades recently on Oasis. A little lighter than a strawberry daiquiri

I've read previously that if you pre-purchase, the drinks sticker is pre-printed on your sea pass whereas I know if you buy it when you board it's a sticker.
Not necessarily an advantage, unless the sticker comes off, then it could get a bit annoying having to get a new one if it kept happening (although from past experience, mine did stay put for the fortnight).
Enjoy your cruise, and your package whichever way you buy it :D
We pre-purchased and we still had a sticker on our card. We were disappointed but were glad we didn't have to wait in the long lines.

We are recently off the Oasis and were charged $105 when we left. I wonder if they charge you for 8 days if you leave later on the day of debarkation then when you got there the day of embarkation. We got to the port around 10 and then left around 8 so we were only charged for 7 days.

Yes, my DH got a few Strongbows on the Oasis a couple weeks ago with the package.
-
The bottled water in the package is Evian...tastes like pool water:rolleyes: That is enough to turn me off from the Royal Replenish!!!
I had the Royal Replenish package on the Oasis and the water I was served was Crystal Geyser not Evian.

Correct, no entertainment pre-booking on Navigator and Indy.
Thanks, Bob. Not looking forward to waiting in line for tickets for the ice show like the old days on Freedom.
-
In the past we have booked our entertainment on the Oasis, Allure and Freedom. I think I've read that you don't pre-book on the Independence or the Navigator. Is that correct?
-
Thank you Cindy. We have dove with Alison several times but thought we might try someone else next time.
-
No, you must use a credit card to book a cruise or purchase an open booking.
I agree with Bob. They charged our credit card separately when we bought ours.

I don't like the balconies that are right before or after that hump area. The people next to you will have a balcony that is starting to curve outward so it will feel less private because when they are standing at the railing they can look into your balcony. I wouldn't rule these rooms out totally, but I don't prefer them. For ex 8350, 8328, 9328
That's good to know. Thanks for posting. :)

I agree with Dianne. Haven't found the shuttles to be chaotic on our recent stays. We do like to take our luggage to the port so we don't have to wait for the driver to unload it once to the port so it's very easy to get on and off with only our carry ons.

We were in Coz in May and my DH dove with Aldora Divers. He said he had a wonderful time and they are a top notch group. They were very accommodating in working out a dive trip to go with his ship time schedule. We are going back in November and he is in hopes of using them again. He has also done past dives with Scuba with Alison and enjoyed his dives with her. I don't know if either one of them do dive/snorkel trips but you could get hold of them and see what they say.
Did he prefer Aldora to Alison, since you said he's hoping to use Aldora again?

Anyone?

Stayed there four times and have it book for before and after our next cruise. The grounds are really nice with ponds and waterfalls. There is an Italian restaurant on one side, a Mom and Pop restaurant on the other and a McDonald's across the street. There is also a go-kart track/mini golf course within walking distance. As others have mentioned, there is also a bar and restaurant on site.
Zachary's is the name of the Mom and Pop restaurant. We like to go there for breakfast the day of embarkation. :)

Call them at 321-784-0000 and choose the option for shuttle reservations (5 I believe) and they'll add your name to the list.
How did you book the shuttle already? Was that an option on their website or did you call? Just curious because we reserved a room there with the Park N Cruise deal for July. -
We have been taking our luggage over earlier and then when we get on and off the shuttle we don't have to wait for them to unload them with everyone else. We just head to the terminal. Works for us.
-
I'd like to hear from people that have used them. Was it a good experience? Would you use them again?
We are thinking of using them in FLL because it's not valet only and they have optional covered parking.
Thank you :)

We are on the Oasis in a couple weeks and the Allure in Sept. Can't wait to read your review!

We are Cruising with you also on June 7th Debbie! Only 22 days on the ticker.
Yep! We leave 3 weeks from today for FL. Getting so excited! Jury duty on June 2nd has put a little damper on it. I hope they let me go!

We were never offered shots on the Oasis in June.
DH and BIL had the premium pkg.
We had early dining.
