Thanks -- that's what I thought -- frustrating that they are claiming otherwise. I'm hoping someone can tell me about 3331/3332

I've seen people posting photos of bathrooms -- some seem to be modern and updated, and others seem to be old and not refurbished. I had read somewhere that upper decks were refurbished and lower decks not. So....I just called HAL to confirm if my cabin choice (deck 3) was refurbished or not. The agent put me on hold and when she came back she said that she was told that when a ship refurbishes bathrooms they do them all at once -- but photos seem to tell a different story. Anyone have any insider info? I am specifically looking at cabins around the 3331 / 3332 area.

My experience with whale watching out of Boston is that we went straight out for 2 hours (I thought we were going to end up in Europe, lol). It was very choppy and many, many people spent the entire trip lying on benches. We saw a couple of tails, but that's about it. Whereas in Juneau (I highly recommend Harv & Marv) you can see land the entire time, it's very calm and whales galore -- we even saw a pod bubble-net feeding, which was amazing.

I'm feeling rather computer inept! Someone suggested looking at other sailings and I can only see mine! Was more curious about dinner menus -- not as worried about breakfast ones. Oh well.....it'll be a surprise, I guess.

....nothing 😞 Maybe I'm too far out? When do menus typically show up?

I'm looking at the app and I don't see it -- I go to dining / main dining / opus dining room (I've looked at both deck 3 & deck 4 options) .......... and I see nothing resembling a menu. Can somone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Waves are less of a concern compared to easy entry -- we need a place with no big drop-offs -- I've heard from other that Eagle Beach has one, making it difficult to get in (and out of) the water. Can someone confirm?

Looking to do tours on 2 of these and a beach day on the 3rd. Which island (and location) for a beach day with 1) calm water and 2) easy entry to water?

Friends who work on ships tell me there is a difference between "staff" and "crew". Staff can eat in the buffet during "off" hours, while crew cannot.

Anyone done this HAL excursion recently? Reviews seem to be very mixed.
