At least I'll be able to see the 1pm football games. Plannning on leaving around 4pm for the cruise. Hope our cruise is calmer.

Also you can buy liquor the last night from the Fun Shop and bring it to your room for the following week. We always do this on a b2b. :D

I even watch the Pride on Wednesday afternoons. I know my grandkids have seen us a couple of times on the cam.

I missed ours last week on the Pride - there was no way we were leaving the Serenety area to get to a cocktail party at 4:15. Wjhat an odd time.

I haven't been to apast guest party since they started having them so early.

I hope they split the parties for early & late seating as well as colors.

I have one booked but a bit concerned about the layout.

Seems like bunkbeds or a bed and sofa bed. Is it comfortable?

I've stayed in a porthole cabin before. If you cruise is tendering anywhere the anchor is very noisy.

I love the Pride but have not been on her since she got the burrito bar & Guy's burgers. Nice seeing that.

I'm jealous too. I just paid over $300 to be upsold/upgraded to a Balcony.

On the Legend our bathtub was broken. We would have never known except that we returned to our room when the maintenance crew was fixing it. If we had used the Jaccuzzi the first night it would have flooded our bathroom & maybe the room below us. We should have been told & OP should have been told about his room's issues. Glad to see they were minor. On the Valor in 33 days.

We got one a few years ago. Got a free porthole on 4 day Imagination & $200. Guess we didn't lose enough to get a longer cruise. Enjoyed it though.

The prices are higher than most other Carnival cruises. It balances out 'cus most people don't have to pay air.

I've seen this before. Wish I would have saved it now. Funny.

Happy the Pride is back. Even happier Carnival is doing more than just two itineraries.

I've seen Carnival wait 45 minutes for a group of about 7. They took a cab back to the ship in Cozumel so I don't think they were on a sponsored tour. I would never want to chance Carnival waiting though.

Not sure how many people use the self serve laundry. I was near one on the Imagination & I don't believe I ever heard or saw anyone use it. I've been on a bunch of cruises & never have used a self serve laundry. Its a vacation.

The Pride is in my favorite class of Carnival ships. I sailed both ships as recently 2013. If the itinerary is not an issue the Pride is newer with more & nicer bells & whistles.

You'll have a good time on which ever you chose. Enjoy!

Another vote for the side balcony. I think its the 9B rooms. They are sideways compared to other rooms & larger.

My mother did RC Alaska cruise last year. She was mad because RC was charging for ice cream. It's the little things that add up. Every line is doing it. I still like Carnival.

Not sure if I have bad information or what, but I don't see the benefit of booking onboard the ship.

 

The OBC seems relatively small for the risk you take if you end up needing to cancel.

 

Does anyone have the fine print? I though I saw its only $50 OBC on sailngs up to 6 or 7 days???

7 days is $100 OBC. It used to be 6 days was $75 but I believe they changed it. Or maybe that was stockholder OBC. Plus you get 2 certificates for friends & family. So if you are sure you will cruise again with Carnival its not a bad deal.
