Yes it worked even better once I copied from my clock creation link page and pasted it into my signature via account settings it showed up correctly. the clock does not tick down as it once used to but when refreshed it shows a lower wait time as on the moment of refreshment.
Many thanks again Aulinus and i hope with your method and mine folk can now get the clocks they want and if you still have the links on your signature follow what I said.

Thankyou very much I followed your instructions and saw your image. I tried it for myself coudlnt get it to work then i went into my countdown links on my expanded signature
I right clicked and then as you said it came up with the warning message and i followed it through as you said then went back in to the roll call thread and refreshed it and hey presto!! not only the one I clicked on on but both came up with my countdown clock . brilliant!! 🙂 I am now going to create my third countdown clock and see if that works same method.

The pics are being blocked by your security - I use firefox and I can tell it overide the security and allow the pics.(clocks)
Ghandolph posted just before you did so I just mentioned I could see him on his clock being on Explorer of the seas.
Our rivercruise was not mainly germans many canadians and we dont recall a Russian/Ukrainian host.
Although nothing like an ocean cruise we enjoyed it a lot. Think the ships may be a bit better now though Viking
stopped going for a few years. If you use firefox as a browser I may be able to tell you how to see the clocks
I dont know how to do it on other browsers.
I do use Firefox so how do overcome security please?
Sounds like your Ukrainian cruise might have been a lot nicer. Although extremely knowledgeable, Alla was very intolerant of anyone who needed a stick for walking like my elderly mother and was very rude to her and tried to prevent her from seeing things. I will say the itinerary and food was super but I wish we had had more English speaking folk aboard Canadians would have been excellent the few friendly French speaking passengers preferred to join us if they were allowed!

There is a larger thread perhaps 5 posts down from this one - There is currently a problem that Jenn is looking into
I can see the clocks Minya yours are Queen Vic and Magellan.
Ghandalph explorer OTS
I am not sure how you can see them when I cant . what is Ghandolph explorer OTS?
I see you did a Viking Ukraine cruise. I did one in 2001 Viking General Lavrinenkov Kiev -Odessa return. Was it very German orientated and did you have a Ukrainian or maybe Russian woman in charge of all the English speaking groups called Alla?

I just went to the link for the countdown clock and created a new clock BUT I had to save the picture and then insert it in my signature section. Voila!
It wouldn't let me put in a date later than 2021. Oh well:)
Can you explain how you got it all to work and how did you save the picture please?

Was on the Summit last week, our drill was in in the casino. It was fast, no video and was very organized.
Great news !

Agree totally.....can hardly wait to see this video when I'm on the Summit in a few months and what is taking place during it.
I am on Summit too, this year but I have until October. I am going to check out where the muster is for my room , hopefully it might be the theatre where there should be plenty of seats. Less people then Solstice so maybe less crowded but will still have to suffer the long drill. At least it should be cooler.

Also, somehow it knew we were going to the Panama Canal & put the picture in. I had chosen another picture, but it didn't show! Was pleasantly surprised!
I think you more then likely put the radio button on the Panama Canal picture in the first place without realizing it, I've done that before accidentally. In this case it worked out well for you!!

Thanks so much for this info. I just did this & it worked ! So easy & will just keep checking to see that it's counting down. YEA !!
That's excellent well done! Glad I was able to help!! 🙂

I was Celebrity Solstice in March and we were herded into a hot very crowded room with a smattering of seats. The drill went and on and we were forced to watch a stupid quite lengthy video suitable for kids and even they would have got bored. They need to make it a lot shorter, about the length of the very good Princess ones cut out the rif- raff and retain peoples attention.

Hi there
Here is info which I hope will assist people:
EDITING SIGNATURE;
Go to your name top right corner of board click on downward arrow on the right/ account settings/signature delete any written info and update as you wish.save.If that does not work shorten your info keep saving until success.
COUNTDOWN CLOCKS:
Here is how this week , I fixed after over an hour of experimentation , the countdown clock puzzle:
. I did not have to edit any previous info I had done that previously to shorten the amount of info . I did have to delete all previous countdown clocks current or sailed and then:
go to link https://www.cruisecritic.com/vbulletin/countdown.cfm
Create my clock , copy it and then go straight to my account settings/ signature and paste it in under the last line of info and save. I was able to create three clocks and have them in the order of sailing. paste above or below your first clock as desired. This is the link that works. The clocks do update if you refresh them you will see a lower time to sail. Its just not an actual constantly moving total as it used to be.I hope this helps people.
Look at my expanded signature you will see info on past sailings and three countdown clocks .

Hi there
Came across this thread and thought I would share with you a wonderful private tour we did in Shinoukville with Don Bosco tours it was Christmas Day 2014 . This is what we did when we were in port on Sapphire Princess.
07.30 Pick up at the Tender port
07.30 - 08.20 Visit Fishing Villages
08:20 - 09:10 Visit Wat Leu Pagoda -loved this enchanting children there
09:10 - 09.50 Coffee Break at our own home made Italian Ice Cream Shop delicious!
09.50 - 11.30 Visit Kabal Chhay Waterfall ) beautiful spot take good walking shoes
11.30 - 13.30 Tour of the Don Bosco Hotel School and Christmas Buffet Lunch (which was super-duper followed by a dancing show) at the Poolside Restaurant. We didn’t get the tour as it was Christmas.
13.30 - 14:20 Psa Leu Market (Central Market) for shopping and Souvenirs
14.20 - 15:20 Beach Drive
15:20 - 15.30 Return to the shipThe Hotel School is a not-for-profit enterprise run by a Silesian order and attached to the Don Bosco Hotel. Their mission is to train local disadvantaged young people to equip them for a career in hospitality and catering. This very special and unique tour, delivered by the School, combines Sihanoukville and area sightseeing with a tour of the school and a special buffet lunch prepared by the students; enabling folk to enjoy Cambodian hospitality and appreciate the vital work that Don Bosco is doing for the restoration of Khmer society.
Price quoted for us in 2014 was $70.00 USD per person and $50USD for children under 12 years of age. including Coffee Break and Special Christmas Buffet Lunch. Drinks extra - payable at hotel reception at lunchtime. The price may possibly be adjusted depending on what kind of lunch you are offered.
Don Bosco has vehicles suitable for carrying 10, 20 or 30 persons, no limit on numbers for this tour - the school will lay on sufficient transport to ensure everyone travels in comfort .
We had a lot of fun and the driver and tour guide on our smaller coach were lovely, Im still in touch with them but they are both elsewhere. I am in touch. I was actually in the 10 seater coach not so comfortable as the bigger coaches but Cambodian roads are not the best and we had a lot of fun during our memorable day everyone loved the tour and I organized it for anew group when I repeated the crusie the following year also on Christmas Day they loved it and I did something different , had a wonderful time on a ship tour to a local school and other things.Email: admin@donboscohotelschool.com to find out more
Hope this may be of help and inspire you as much as it did all of us.
Cheers

I read an excellent review of very quiet any direction E1839 awhile ago and on account of that have booked it for my Alaskan cruise next month.. I have just read a recent , dreadful review of E1832 other side of ship plagued by noise not only from an extremely noisy next door neighbour but continuous very loud machinery noises below - it might be the crew metal workroom like they have on Princess ..
Of course I could get noisy neighbours too who knows.Always take earplugs in case.
DO NOT BOOK E1832 and if you have change it if you can !!..

I had a quick look at this Jan 2017 from the door entrance courtesy of its vacating passenger . She was quite satisfied saying " its not really obstructed at all" . Agree. I could see the room was quite light and with a very good, absolutely clear view from the window above the lower part where the lifeboat is . I'd happily book this cabin!! Wish Stars was exactly the same but its not different class of ship. She said the cabin was quiet and it was in a great location towards aft.

Your review and photos are superb thankyou so much for all your time and trouble . It's such valuable info I am going to post a link to this thread on my own thread which no one else has joined yet as its very early days ( late June / early July 2017, also Star Princess, sadly too bright to see the Northern Lights but that time is our coldest time in NZ where I live.
I am an only child too but sadly don't have a mom and aunt to join me so I cruise solo and i like it that way.
Hope your aunt is o.k now am contemplating foot surgery myself afraid long hikes are out for me and I dont drive so tours tend to be my option.. After the land tour I will cruise Southward like you but I will be doing my main viewing up on deck as i have a not too badly obstructed cabin port side Emerald deck between the tenders so wont get the wonderful viewing you had from your mini suite. If I win lotto I will get a balcony!!

Yes I was on Sapphire Princess Xmas New Year sailing 2014/15 and there was a kettle in my outside plaza stateroom and other passengers had them too and it was very nice surprise for all. On same cruise this year it was so good . Hope the kettles are still there.
I don't think Diamond has them certainly didn't when I sailed Christmas/New Year 2010/11.

I know there is a long gap between posts but thought i would add my experience
Ive had P300 on Sapphire princess perfect! I would have had it again but it was already taken for my next cruise so I have one nearby which should be fine I sussed it from outside the door.
ive just come back from Sun had a guaranteed room which was E329 on Emerald not a deck most would aim for a tiny bit of music noise for a small amount of time - was below the bar in The Wheelhouse. Really nothing to worry about but I have acute hearing due to never having played loud music in my life. Most dont hear the low beat sounds I can.
im hoping Caribbean P329 (coincidence of room number) will be o.k but its plaza and not below the Wheelhouse. Am also on the cruise before that but its guaranteed due to being a Christmas one . Trust I dont end up in a bad room but hopefully I will get same provided it's o.k.
I love Plaza deck a nice quiet deck near the art gallery on some ships and near the piazza which is always lovely at Christmas.
Warning: Sun has extremely bad rooms on Dolphin deck be wary of being above the theatre or Vista lounge. One night I walked down a passageway between 8-10pm and the racket was unbelievable and the whole corridor was vibrating. One person on my table had a room in that area and was miserable couldn't change. I heard of another couple there who camped out in the lounge , refused to sleep in their room until they were somehow changed but one person died and four were met by the police and refused sailing -drugs.
Even the prized Caribe corner aft balconys can have their problems I was on Diamond port excellent but my non smoker friend on starboard suffered from a crew area next to it with constant cigarette smoke drifting from it and into his room when he opened the main door.

Hi All,
we are looking at a 10 day Malaysia cruise - SIN-SIN end of December (29th) this year. If anybody could point me to a details of previous cruises with this itinerary and overall general impressions I would really appreciate it!
Never having cruised this part of the world, I'm wondering about quality of ports and itinerary. We are experienced Princess cruisers and know Sapphire Princess - so it really is just about the itinerary...
Thanks!
Bugslyboo

Hi Amelia
I wil reply to you by email !

I was also on the cruise with Amelia and friends and have enjoyed what has been written . I was part of that frustrated group in Koh Sumai!!
Thankyou Amelia for all you have written brings back memories and its a good diary! I was also one of the party of five who travelled to Siem Reap afterwards. We certainly ahd a fantastic time and I will add some more info later too.
James Bond Island
I was on a different coach and boat and loved my excursion. Depends on the guide somemtimes as to what you see. We walked around and saw alot more at the stop , the floating market of shops was great I bought some beautiful material and matching scarf and we saw a school and delightful sleeping younger children. By the time we returned to our coach (later then Amelia) we were ravenous but in our case our driver had put the lunches on ice so they were fresh .I love Subway and the ham roll was yummy! I heard no complaints and i think everyone devoured them. We must have been very lucky with our group!
I will add some more on on other Princess trips I did not covered like Twin Lakes in Bali and Mekong Delta in Vietnam both absolutely fantastic . I have ship dvds of many excursions so if any questions do ask and I will try and answer them.
if I havent done the excursion I can only be guided by what is on the dvd.
Amelia if you see this , Don Bosco repeat Xmas day for the next cruise ( same dates 18 Dec to Jan 8th) not me , someone else who followed up after I posted. They might get our driver and guide again . we also were entertained with Balinese dancing there. I ahd the Christams turkey yum!!
Extremely early days but three folk so far. I am planning a different Princess excursion that looks fantastic but I am not saying until I can book it and that is many months away.
I am repeating the cruise and i know at least two other cc'rs are.
Thats all now but I will return here.
Hi to kjets if you see this too!!

Dragonfly cruiser
Im booked Dec 22nd-jan 3rd 2011 so before your cruise!! Mine got accidently cancelled by the agent when the boking was adjusted and was unsafe for a month before we realised but luckily not taken and safely rebooked again. 748 will be my cabin.

My friend and I within the last two weeks have got BB cabins C748 and C751 which should be great on the Christmas/New year cruise Australia New Zealand.
I have had one of the two aft cabins on Emerald deck of Coral Princess . Although no balcony there was a really private deck in front absolutely superb , very quiet,no smell and very little vibration. Thats was a Panama Canal Latin American cruise.
Thankyou for all the hard work on this thread superb! and Ive seen the great photo of our cabins, well more mine as closer to the camera.
