Ck it with your TA. it should only take a day or two.

Why pay extra for a Meal you already paid for? Yo will spend $50-$70 for a meal you can get in the Main Dining Room. I just got off Grandeur and checked out The Pay Restaurants a few times and there were only 1-2 couples in there each night. If you want to pay extra you can get the same Meal in the MDR.

Not all dining rooms can fit the same number of people ( as explained by a RCCL Exec in a long phone call). For those who Don't wish to make Rez every night the should have a set time ( 8 PM) the a set rotation of dining rooms for that cruise at a large 10 top with the same people that they would normally sit with as if there was NO DD. Then other who want to make Rez can do what they want.

I would not be forced into making a Reservation each night. I would just show up at * PM or 6PM and request a to be seated at a large 10 Top table. If they don't comply no tip that night. RCCL has to learn that some people want to cruise because the don't have to make ReZ and want to meet new people. The dinner table is a good place to do that!

The Panoramic Ocean View cabins on the Grandeur were in a bad place. The space use to be a lounge off the Centrum. They are narrow with floor to ceiling windows. I just got off the ship Dec 9th. I would not take those cabins.

Rotational Dining , where guest change Diningrooms nightly would give the different Menu's. This would stop the having to make Rez and the whole table changes Restaurants.

Mitch Merucci is on Grandeur now. I sailed 11/29/14 and he was there

I was on the Quantum in Nov. Usually take late seating at a large table in order to meet new people. I don't want to make Reservations I just want to go to the MDR. When I walked into the American Icon at 8PM they didn't know where or how to seat me. They were NOT filling large tables with walk ins. the nice part of a Cruise is you don't have to spend the morning deciding where to eat like you do on land. It's nice to have the verity selection of different menu's, but that causes a problem with people seating times and locations. They could have gone to rotational Dining like Disney. The whole table changes Dining rooms. I'll stop Cruising RCCL I guess.

The problem with DD is I don't want to make Rez just walk up and sit at a large table and meet new people. When I did this on Quantum in Nov they didn't know where to put me? What use to be nice about a cruise is that you didn't have to think about where you were going to eat. RCCL wants to offer more food options , but they are making things more difficult. I'll just sail other lines and forget about RCCL.

In the MDR the waiters will sing Happy Birthday and bring out a special cake for you

Just got off Dec 9th Western. Had 30' waves last day back to Balt. Don't waste your money on the pay Restaurants. Not worth the extra $$$.

I would not pay extra for a meal I all ready paid for. I was just on the Grandeur and both Restaurants were empty. No one wants to pay $50 -$70 a couple for a meal extra. It's not worth the money!

Dynamic Dining Is anyone else as upset with this new Dining on RCCL as I am. I don’t want to be forced to make Reservations each night for dinner. I want to just walk in at a time and sit with others for dinner. If the really roll out this New concept I’ll have to change the Line I cruise on.

I was on the Quantum and Hated Dynamic Dining. I don't want to be forced to make reservations for dinner on a cruise.

I have experience Dynamic Dining on the Quantum and it is very BAD. I don’t want to or will have to make Reservations for dinner on a ship. What I like about a Cruise is just being able to walk in to the Dining room and being served. If I wanted to spend time deciding where to have dinner I would have taken a Land Vacation. I want to sit at a large table and meet new people. That to me is the FUN of a Cruise. If RCCL does not make adjustments I’ll stop cruising on their ships!
I should have booked yesterday!
