  1. I am considering a cruise on the Beyond and am confused how the dining works. They only have 8:30 dining available. 
    The rep said I can eat anytime in any restaurant and getting a table for 2 would not be a problem. This seems inaccurate to me, as if this is the case, what advantage is “anytime dining”? 

    What are my chances of getting anytime dining if I am on a waitlist?

  2. It showed 2 consecutive dates on my cruise also. It turned out I was able to check in on the earlier date on the Celebrity website and the later date on the app. I would have thought it would have been the reverse.

  3. My husband and I will be doing online check-in on the app and are wondering if we choose not to download our photos at this time, can we still choose a check-in time but return at a later date to upload photos or do we have to complete all fields before we are allowed to choose time?


     

  4. No availability for a private tour, except in the evening. 
    Mangrove Snapper, since I take only early morning shore excursions, I didn’t realize later ones that require a tender, meet off the ship. Makes sense, you have solved my dilemma and I will go on the excursion as originally planned, only later.

When recently accessing my reservation which I periodically do to verify the shore excursions etc. that I have scheduled, I discovered there was a time change on one  excursion from 8:30AM to 1PM. What made this change more frustrating than it would have been under normal circumstances, is this is a tender port. We planned to go on the excursion and on return to the port, explore and have lunch in the “old town” of Kotor which I understand is a “must do”.  With this time change, I have to now hope we can get on an early tender (not sure if this is still a benefit for elite level members), walk around town, take the tender back to the ship, just to have to 

    tender back to our excursion (Kotor by Tuk Tuk). Just going on  the excursion will not leave us enough time to explore Kotor. I called the Captains Club desk and was informed that the tour operator changed the schedule and there is no longer an 8:30 time offered. At first he said the 1:00 tour is sold out and a minute later said that there was an opening for only 1 passenger. At first I tended to believe him, but became very skeptical when I went into the website again and it did not indicate that it was sold out or had limited openings which it did on another of my excursions. Not sure how I will proceed. 

     

     

     

     

     

     

  6. My husband and I will be in Italy (Rome, Venice, etc.) in April and May and am wondering if a medium orange windbreaker would be ok or will I stick out like a sore thumb? It is new and very attractive, but I don’t want to scream “tourist”. I appreciate any opinions.

     

     

  7. Good news! They must have fixed the website. I was just able to book entry using my required dates and all screens including the one with the QR code displayed the correct dates. Thanks all.

  8. VMax1700, it must be that cruisemom42 and I are in the US and you are located in Europe. 
    I can’t understand why this would happen, makes no sense, but I cannot think of another explanation.

  10. Thank you. We did use the English language option on their website to order the tickets but when we needed to cancel, only the screen in Italian displayed. The good news is that the cancellation went through.

  11. Thanks for trying. Has to be geographical since the only person who tried it and is not having this problem is VMax1700 who is located in Ireland. 
    Next week (I am taking a break), I will try inputting the actual date I want to enter and ignore the date on the second screen. Hopefully, it will display a QR code with the original date I input as it did when I placed the order yesterday.

  12. Unfortunately, the VPN suggestion didn’t work.
    I just checked and it still shows the prior day. We even tried our pc in addition to our iPad and android tablet, getting the same result. I made a reservation yesterday inputting the day after we plan on entering Venice, and it displayed the date prior (the correct date). Upon completing our purchase, the order displaying the QR code reverted to the date on the original screen ( a day too late). Fortunately we were able to cancel the order.  The screen was displayed in Italian and my husband used google translate to make the transaction. Since  I have some time, I will try again at a later date inputting our required date.  I appreciate everyone’s help. This process has certainly been very confusing and frustrating.
