Hi tobique, our cruise ends in Barcelona early next month. We have signed up for the included tour. Can you be so kind to share more details of this tour starting from the visit of the Barcelona Cathedral, walking in the old town and getting back to the ship? We are considering leaving the tour after the Cathedral to explore old town on our own. Also, any information you may have regarding the Viking provide shuttle would be much appreciated. Thanks.

We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam early this year. Our coach (there were 9 of them) left the McKinley Resort around 9 am, one viewpoint and restroom stop, an hour-long lunch stop in Wasilla, a timed passage through the Anton Anderson tunnel, finally arrived Whittier just before 5 pm. Very quick check in and boarding process.

We received 2 gift vouches when we were there end of May this year. Guest services at the main lodge easily made dinner reservations for Karstens with their computer system. I am sure they can do the same if you call them.

According to MarineTraffic today, Noordam docks head on along the west side of the dock, meaning cabins on the Starboard side are facing the water.
