I am booked for next month and have zero intention of cancelling.

Just got off the Legend. Chat was totally worthless in my opinion. Much too sporadic. Had to keep resetting app and WiFi. Usually didn't get messages until hours later.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but was asked by friends that are cruising with us, so want to verify. Can the drink package be used in the Alchemy bar? Thanks.
-
Thanks all. They did prepaid parking, the rest will be however it turns out.

Preface: If your going to throw flames, move onto the next topic.
My son and girlfriend are sailing out of Mobile with another couple. He was proactive and did all his registrations a while back. His friend did not. Result: They have a boarding time 2 hours apart. (Yes, I am aware they can board together using the later time), but does anybody know if Mobile is strict about enforcing the boarding times? Can they all get on early together using the earlier boarding time? Thanks for any information in advance.

Sailed with him before. Very entertaining. One of my favorites. Should be a real blast on New Years cruise!

We celebrated my 60th birthday at Paradise beach this past December. Had a blast. They now are doing all inclusive if interested. Contact me if you have any specific questions.

I just did the same thing with my grown kids. I prepaid tips and bought their drink packages, but any other incidentals were on them. As was stated before, when they do their on-line check-in, they can just set up their own credit for sail and sign.

Just got off the Fantasy. Ship is all decorated for Christmas and they did have a Christmas show in the theater. Also sang Christmas Carols in the Atrium one night.

I also used to stock up on Crown. But Carnival changed their policy several years ago to deliver to your cabin the night before debarkation, and I stopped. I heard they started delivering again (sales dropped significantly?), but now from last year to this year, they raised their prices by about 40% so I quit buying completely. Just not worth it any more.

I've cruised many times, but this time we are taking kids and grand kids. To put my daughters mind at ease, am looking for any information from those of you that have used Camp Carnival before. The grand babies ages are 8 and 6. Any info will be appreciated.

Last cruise i was on they now delivered to your room once again. No need to worry about prices, Carnival will price match, snap picture at store in Port and have them match.

Didn't know about the delivery since I saw no need to purchase the alcohol at increased prices. Not much of a deal anymore. Definitely not worth lugging all the extra weight off the ship!
Unfortunately, the stores in the port aren't dumb, they raised their prices to match Carnivals!

I learned on my last cruise a week ago that after Carnival decided to not deliver alcohol bought on board to your room last night before debarkation, and sales dropped, that they now raised the prices by approximately 40% to make up the loss.

Are you looking for a list of liquor to buy before you board or to buy to take off the ship after you get done cruising? If the latter, be aware that Carnival has increased their liquor prices by approximately 40% over a year ago. Not the deal it used to be.

I don't watch network TV at home other than college football, I wouldn't have noticed it was missing from the ship.
Ditto!

I have sailed her before and will be on her again next week. Love sailing out of Mobile. Will give you current updates when I get back. What part of Bama are you from?

I am booked to sail on the Regal in January and have no intention on cancelling. I will be more than willing to help the local economies regardless of aesthetics

We went on one several years ago and absolutely loved it!

Current Cruise Director is Mikey, and we really liked him. Dynamic, yet not intrusive. Always available to mingle with guests and answer any questions. One of the best we have ever had!

Disregard all those saying senior rate doesn't exist. I am booked on a cruise in November and was originally on an early saver rate, but a couple of weeks ago the senior rate came up and saved me over $100. Now I have that much more credit on my account. It does come up, you just have to keep looking.

Here's my simple view of it. Carnival puts out a"pilot" program to effect some sort of cut. In a short wjhile they will announce that since most "guests" (whether this is fact or not, we will never really know) opted for the "once a day" cabin service In order to please said "guests", that will now be the new policy. Now it's not a cutback, but simply a means to please its guests. Brilliant!

Just got off her on Saturday (12/12). Still the regular menu, minus the lobster. And FYI, the shrimp nor the crab ravioli come close to comparing to the lobster.

Just got off the Paradise on 12/12. Went to get my purchases (bought in duty free shop in Cozumel, cheaper than on board) around 7:15. Approximately 100 people in line in front of me already, took about 30 minutes. A lot of frustrated people, due to some disorganization and lack of information from crew that there were actually two lines, one for liquor purchased off ship and one for liquor purchased on board.

Absolutely! And as a retired Army officer i would be the first in line to thank him for continueing to protect our country and to buy him a drink.
Maybe the CDC is right after all

Quoting the CDC? Really? This is the same group that several years ago put out an official Zombie Apocalypse survival list. And you take them seriously? No credibility!
