perhaps there is more to this story. like the other point of view?
I'd like to hear what the waiter has to say as well.

I always take any announcement coming soon from JH or Carnival with a grain of salt.
Only a grain? I take mine with a salt lick! ;)

Don't be down, turn that frown upside down and remember, you're on a cruise! :D

Your friends must also not eat in restaurants, table or fast food, buy fruit, drink milk, attend any amusement park, shop at any discount retailer, buy clothes, purchase electronics.. all affordable due to cheap labor.
So true. Kathy Lee Gifford had children overseas in sweatshops sewing her clothing line. Allegedly she learned it all from Carnival.

I suppose it depends on the size of the tip.
You either have auto-tipping or not, but if some of you guys are happy to tip extra, whatever the service level, you can pay mine as well and I'll just make sure I keep my toothbrush in my pocket.
There's always a week at Butlin's choice!
-
Is anyone able to show any clarity on my earlier question as to whether the guys that do room service are included in the auto-tipping pool?
They are not included.

Does anyone know if the French door or the picture window is better? We went with the French door since it opened.
Well, you can't open the picture window. I think you made a good choice.

4105 has no view, lifeboat completely obstructs the doors.

Having lived in Seattle for 25 years I'm enjoying reading about the changes there since I moved to southern California 11 years ago.
I'm looking forward to your review of the Miracle as we sail her in February to Mexico. A big thank you for your review! :)

Actually, according to this, it is only 35 g of fat.
I included the fat grams for two ice creams with the WCMC ;)

Fifty.Six.Grams.Of.Fat.Per.Serving. :eek::eek:

Now this is a cutback I can live with :D

In the MDR we've been known to order a Benedict Scramble with the sauce on the side on mornings we want an egg style other than poached. Tastes great and the spouse has theirs made with Egg Beaters.

I haven't paid in full either, the lady says you can cancel and rebook again to get the new solo rate or do it through them.
Sweet!!!! :)
-
no solo supplements? meaning?...
Carnival usually requires a solo passenger to pay the double occupancy rate.
-
Those are actually 6 nights.
Bonus night?
I looked the 12/1 sailing up and it's showing as a 6 day cruise.
-
Thanks for posting this! The 5 night Miracle caught my eye!

ClairesCurtains:
4112 is directly above the wedding chapel, should be nice and quiet.

Don't really want to go any lower than Deck 4 (coming from our current reservation that is on Deck 6).. and the noise from the $10 watch sale is during the day isn't it, so I don't think it'll be an issue cause my butt better be in the Sunshine then!! :)
I put a wink emoticon after my comment about the watch sale. Yes, the watch sale occurs during the day and it was meant as a small attempt at humor.
I hope you 'll enjoy your cabin selection and come back and tell us what your impressions were.
Happy Landings! :)
-
Is that a noisy room?
You should check the deck plans as some of the 4K cabins are over the piano lounge on deck 3. We never heard a peep but everyone is different. I love the 4-k cabins. The particular cabin you are asking about, 4130, is over the Fun Shop which only gets noisy during the $10 watch sale. ;)

The crew can be working out there so heads up :)

The gold by the inch is not real so how did it appraise as a good deal
The appraiser is as phony as the "gold."
NOT happy with FREEDOM at all
in Carnival Cruise Lines

This is a poor excuse. We humans can look a person in the eye and smile to share a sincere spirit of hospitality without speaking. It's not hard to do in any language or culture.
For all her faults the hotel queen Leona Helmsley got one thing right when she said:
" I hire nice people, I don't train people to be nice."
