What thrill theater?

We just were on the Dream a few weeks ago and would recommend staying at the Hilton Riverside hotel. It is on the river, connected to the Riverwalk mall and convention center. You can walk through the mall about 2 blocks and down some stairs right to the Dream ship. Takes about 10-12 min. It is about 4-5 blocks from French Quarter. It is a very nice Hotel and the location is great.
I just booked this hotel via priceline for $75 a night. Do all the Carnival ships dock at the same location?

Thank you for your advice. I was able to secure the Hilton Riverside for $75 a night thru price line. Looks like a nice hotel.

I am trying to figure out what zone/area I should be bidding in order to be closest to the Port of New Orleans. Any help would be appreciated.

I always purchase it. I love being able to drop my bags off and being able to sit on my balcony and enjoy the view. I love the priority debarkation as well.

Can anyone suggest activities to do with a 15 year old girl in New Orleans. She isn't a museum type of a girl. We are staying at the Hilton Riverside. I have never been to New Orleans so I am a little cautious of where to go. Any advice would be great! Also are the trolly cars easy to use???
Thanks for your help!

When do the shore excursions become available to browse/purchase on Carnivals site. I have a cruise book and granted it is a long way away but I went out to just see what the excursions were (since I have never been to these ports) and nothing comes up at all for excursions. Carnival website issue or too far out?

We used them last year. FANTASTIC service. We were picked up in a limo on our return to MCO for just the two of us. Can't complain one bit!
CAUTION: THEY FILL UP VERY QUICKLY SO RESERVE EARLY

Many years ago we were allowed to buy alcohol in the terminal and bring it onboard and take it to our stateroom as long as it was in our carry on. Is that still true?

Anyone know what the movies that are currently showing on the big screen??? We sail in 4 weeks and I was curious. We are sailing on Splendor.

I am a huge cruiser. At least once a year. Would like to go more. I am in the process of a divorce and wondering if a lot of people go solo? I may need to find some friends :D

Sheraton in Old San Juan. It is directly across the street from the port. Nice hotel with outside dining that looks at the port.

I was told by my PVP that insurance was now Required on all sailings due to the Ebola scare. Has anyone else heard of this?

Excellent price!!!! Btw even though Hotwire said there was a resort fee, we were not charged one.
See if you can get into the tower complimentary, it might be worth it.
How can you tell which one is on the hotwire hotrates?

Trying to figure out hotel accomadations for 01/30/2015 - 02/01/2015 in FLL for two night pre-cruise. But holy cow prices are so expensive. Week before not bad. Week after not bad. Wondering if anyone knows of something going on in FLL that weekend that makes the prices so high.

Can someone tell me if there are any other ships that have the full Cloud 9 Spa including T-Pool, Relax Room, Steam Bath, etc. I know Dream, Magic, Breeze do. Are there any other ships?
-
Can anyone tell me exactly what rooms the cloud 9 spa on Sunshine has. I know it doesn't have the T-Pool but does it have all the other rooms? We were on Dream and loved it and are looking to book on Sunshine but are concerned it doesn't have all the rooms.
The rooms we want to make sure that are part of the spa on Sunshine are as follows:
Laconium Room
Oriental Steam Bath room
Aroma Steam Bath
Tepidarium Room
Relax Lounge Room
If anyone can help me that would be great. And if anyone has pictures that would be better :)

Have some friends who are cruising on the Paradise and the only available rooms at their price point was on the Riviera deck and located aft. I am curious if this was a bad choice because of the engine noise? Has anyone ever stayed down that low and if so, what are your experiences? Thanks in advance for your help.
Wouldn't be my first choice. Yes engine noise and vibrations will be an issue especially in rough seas.

Are you allowed to bring those on board? (Instead of Pop or water)

We rent our car from Hertz for our upcoming cruise on FOS to drive from the airport to Cocoa Beach for a night. Do you know if they will take us to the ship when we will drop the car there ?
Most rental car places at the port offer a shuttle. You might have a long wait.
