Anyone collect the Holland America Tiles from years ago? I have 3 for the Ryndam 11 Statendam 1 and Noordam 11.
-
No they are now obsolete as all slots take either cash or tickets.
Darn and i was going to use that as an excuse to cruise.
Thanks for the information.

I found some Royale Casino $1.00 gaming tokens. Are they still good?
Have had them for years.
Thanks.

Thanks Barb,
Will do, enjoy cruising while you still can.

Hi Judy,
Thanks for suggestion, but I would rather send it to someone who wants it. I found 3 more little ones, would make great cuff links or earrings.

Doris, is that you? Been too long without you. You are missed
Yep, it is me..still hanging on by a thread. (87)
Thanks for posting you miss me. I sure do miss all the wonderful people I've met thru the years.
Keep on cruising.

Guess I wasn't clear, was asking if anyone knew of a cruise ship that served soft-shelled crab in a casual restaurant.
I Live in CA. originally from New Jersey, so am aware of of MD and the crab.
Got married in Elkton in 1948. loooooong time ago. :)
I find a place in San Diego hat sells frozen.
So if any one has been on a cruise (any line) that had that delicacy, I would appreciate hearing from you.
To SadieN.
Which port? Don't know what you are asking.
Thank you.

Does anyone know of a casual dining restaurant that offers soft-shelled crab on their menu?
Several years ago, there was a place that served them. (85, can't remember which line or restaurant) But for my "final" cruise would like to indulge in the again :)
Thanks for your help.

I saw a short list around page 15.
Thank you very much

Does anyone have a list of tips they have compiled they would like to share?
I am 84 and don't think I will have time to go thru all the posts.:p

Are they still offering a free mug with coffee card?
Thank you.

Any one know of bargains from the West Coast? Most of the cruise lines have left.
Thank you Gail
-
We don't get the bargains since some of the cruise lines left the West Coast.
Thanks

Anyone want the block? Just pay postage.

We were supposed to receive one on a B2B on Mariner that put us over the 140 mark but did not get it. On our next cruise (Explorer) we asked the LA about it and they told us it should have been given. We contacted C&A and they sent us a block for Explorer by mistake instead of Mariner. I would be happy to work out something with you to get the Mariner block.
Haven't heard from you. If you still want it, the Block is yours, just pay postage.

I can understand disappointment, however I do not think that gives folks the right to mistreat crew or other passengers, and complaining sometimes is actually mistreatment, particularly in regard to crew. Passengers can just turn and leave the disappointed complainer, crew cannot.
Regarding missing Maui and going to Kona instead, I again can understand disappointment for this person. Apparently no one warned them to never take a cruise when one port is that important to you - fly there. Ship ports change for various reasons and one needs to just go with it. Even if my cruise were "ruined" I WOULD NOT inflict my disappointment on others. But then I cruise for the whole experience and I do tend to make lemonade from lemons, some others do not. Complaining is apparently more fun for them.
Well said. Princess did not have to offer any compensation...the control was out of their hands. Am sure the "man overboard" cost them financially as well as sorrow for the crew.
I, too, go for the cruising experience.

Milestones start at 140 cruise points and repeat every 70 points thereafter.
Thank you.
Merry Christmas to all.

What is the milestone criterea, please?

Taste is subjective however I never thought that the 'gelato' tasted like in Italy but like premium ice cream. I must have been correct because the Royal's Gelato menu says it's "premium ice cream" which is what my taste buds told me. ;)
Discerning tastebuds know:)

The card cost $31 when preordered & $33.35 ($29+$4.35 tip) onboard & has 15 punches for specialty coffee drinks & unlimited brewed coffee for the duration of your cruise at the International Café (Lobby Bar if no IC). On the Royal punches can be used for ice cream, sundaes, shakes & crepes.
Thank you.
Am I assuming (Lobby bar if no IC) means no ice cream? This can only be used on the Royal Ship?
Sorry, new at this coffee card questions.
