  1. Such a bummer about the frozen drinks. I hope that changes - I’m going to leave a few comments to them after the cruise. I think I saw there were pineapple daiquiris on the pool deck but they may not be frozen.  I’m pretty picky about my drinks too and I’m worried I won’t like some of the mixed cocktails after paying so much for them. Maybe I’ll just stick to the boozy milkshakes in the social club assuming I even like them.

I'm finally starting to get my bearings around here... The forward stairs have purple stripes, while the mid ship are pink, and the aft blue... I also just discovered the sign indicating "fore" next to the deck number.

The elevators are also colored that way. Purple elevators in front, red/pink in middle and blue in aft.

One thing that I can definitely tell you about the Scarlet Lady, is that she isn't like any other cruise ship. She has character and a mystery about her. You're always discovering new things, or places that you thought you had been already, but it's something new. I still haven't found Razzle Dazzle...

Deck 5 - Port side. Really enjoying your posts - thank you for sharing your experience with us.

At this point, I think its about even odds that the Scarlet Lady doesn't make the voyage across the pond until closer to the new year. I think they might just leave it in the UK for another month or two.

They are already selling tickets to the REVVEL weekend event in NYC on the ship in mid September. Still seems like it’s making its  way to the US and eventually Miami.

  5. I emailed customer service / tech support and got this response:

“Thanks for contacting Sailor Services. Our Crew is currently working on getting the Sailor App in ship shape for our upcoming voyages out of Miami. At this time, if you have any questions or need assistance with your booking, feel free to give us a ring at 954-488-2955 so that our Crew can assist.

We thank you so much for your patience and understanding.”
  6. The spa is actually on Deck 10 but Deck 11 is mostly spa balcony (and a few spa interior) rooms. One thing to note is there are less elevators on 11 & 12, so you may have to walk down to 10 to catch an elevator quicker. I’m booked for December on deck 11 and haven’t been on the ship yet but this is all information I’ve read.

  7. .... not really fair to jump ahead of others that didn't have FTTF either and who arrived before you. I'm sure someone will think I'm being mean but lots of folks feel the way I do.:(

My point is it never hurts to ask. The worst they could say was no. I had no intentions of jumping ahead - just expressed my interest in wanting to be with the rest of my group (especially since I was solo) and they accommodated. Once I was priority, I could have even boarded earlier than my family. And as a solo traveler, I don’t think one more person boarding the ship earlier in group of 10 makes much of a difference.

  8. I had a similar issue in August 2016. The rest of my group had FTTF and I was a solo traveler that did not. When I checked in, I asked the agent if there was anything they could do so I could get on with my family/group. She said she couldn’t give me FTTF but she gave me the priority boarding stamp so I could get on with them. That would be my suggestion, be friendly/chatty to the agent without being rude and explain you’re alone and want to get on with the rest of your group. It’s worth a try.

  9. My last cruise was August 2016 and I went back and looked at pictures. No table cloths except for elegant night. We had a round table for a large group (11) and it’s a nice glossy wood table - similar to most chain sit down restaurants that don’t have table cloths. And there was definitely a bread basket.

  10. I got one. I believe I left a message on his page with my ship, sail date and room number. You have to do it the the day before your cruise starts though. I got a ship on a stick, bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was waiting in my room on embarkation day. (This was August 2016 so things may have changed since then)
