Super exciting news as I already posted in the other thread on this. We are so excited because NO is the closest port to us!
Ditto for us!!!

My day has been made!!! Thank you RC!

Only the person who buys the package can use it. Getting drinks and giving them to someone else is theft. Buy drinks separately if you want them. If you are caught, they take away the package with no refund.
It's not a big deal to buy my drinks separately. Just an innocent question. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the update. So it seems the C&A discounts for beverage packages start at the Diamond level.
Bob-I have a question for you concerning the premium drink package. I'm sure it's covered somewhere in Cruise Critic Land, too. I want to take advantage of the discount. Please don't pass judgment....What's your take on 'sharing' a package??? I'm not a big drinker and will be bringing on 2 bottles of wine. However, I would like to get a few glasses of champagne during our cruise. My husband would benefit more with the package than me.

Currently, there is no mystery dinner on LB. Windjammer buffet food is very good as is the MDR.
There was one last week.

No signing up with Guest Services when we were on Liberty earlier in the year. Just keep your bags and get in line when as detailed in the "As You Depart" letter you will receive in your stateroom.
Correct. The line began in the MDR, Deck 4.

I love the cupcake making class. I wonder if my husband can attend to watch without paying?

Just got off Liberty Sunday. And, yes, I did see people(perhaps family) watching and taking pictures.

bring it early if it's white and they will put it on ice for you. also hold it in the unlikely event you do not kill the bottle.
we still have to pick out our two.. but hey packing is done!( well mostly.. found a stain on the Uniform shirt so that has to get washed first thing in the morning)
Is it Sunday yet?!
Got the wine packed first :D. My clothes are finished. Just waiting on the husband. Doing his packing tomorrow because I have to work Thurs and Friday. We're heading out Saturday early to drop our dog off at our daughter's. Then, we're Texas bound!!!
Can. Not. Wait!!!!!
-
But of course.
Thanks, Ray!! And, from what I've read no corkage fee either. Just wanted to be clear and save myself from an embarrassing situation!

Question: Can I bring my personal bottle of wine to dinner in the MDR?

Greetings from Liberty in Bermuda!
I spoke to Dru last night, and he will be onboard until
December 6, and then Amy will be taking over as CD.
He said on the morning show that he doesn't have his full schedule yet, but he expects to be on Anthem at least for some of his contracts in 2016
I really like Dru as a CD a lot. Very witty and intelligent.
More later...
I will do a full list update when I get home!
Thanks, Donna, for all you do here!! I was looking forward to Dru on Liberty, but it's not to be. We board Dec. 6!! Darn! What do you know about Amy?

I just tried again on the home page:
OOPS... LOOKS LIKE ROYALCARIBBEAN.COM IS ON VACATION
DON'T LET THAT STOP YOUR VACATION PLANNING

However I can access pages within the site by going directly the sub pages.
Sarah- Same thing is happening with me. I'm on a Mac and was using Chrome. Then tried Safari...didn't work either. Finally used Firefox, and it worked. Ugh..... so frustrating

Galveston Park & Cruise is. It is just right across the street from the cruise terminal. I believe that EZ is also ... just more of a walk. You can Google both places and look at the maps of where they are.
Will do! Thanks, Mark!
-
Question about EZ Parking and Park and Cruise: Are they both within walking distance of the cruise terminal? This is our first time out of Galveston, and I'm unsure about where to park.

We purchased the luggage tag holders from cruise critic, they work really well
Ditto!

Oh, my goodness, I am so enjoying your review!!! My dream trip on my favorite ship :)

We like Breezes, more for the view than for the food, however. The food's good, but the view is better.

I second that!

We moved to a balcony cabin yesterday and our late seating has changed for 830-8 and not sure why or if meal times have changed.
Hi, Stacey!
On our Apr Serenade cruise late seating was 8pm.

Hi Betty Ann :)... I did not get it ... kidschoice@aol.com?
Ok, I sent it Monday. Let me try to resend. I did it from my computer at school(where I have my docs saved) I'll try to resend it tonight. If it doesn't work, I'll be back at school Thursday and try again.

Great info thanks! This is first time cruising any must have things we should bring for our cabins? How much was it for Giovanni's dinner? On embark day did you go somewhere other than windjammer? Do they have a free soft serve ice cream machine on ship? About when does muster take place? Are the shops onboard pretty expensive?
Thanks, stacey
Hi, Stacey! I sent you an email with an attachment. Let me know if you got it.

If you have a disorder I must be in really bad shape-because I am doing the same for June! :p
Megan
We should form a support group :p
-
Hey Betty and Megan... would either of you came to send me what you have on your packing list to help me out :))))...you could email kidschoice@aol.com if you didn't mind
I'm sending it now.

Since this thread started, has anyone thought of other things to bring or that you realized you wished you had brought something?
I always bring highlighters so we can mark what we want to do on the Cruise Compasses each night.
-
My camera and its assorted parts, then my swimsuit. I usually start packing almost a month out from the trip! :)
Things I'd wished I brought? I can't actually think of any! But then, I'm definitely one of the binder/packing list planners, so I'm pretty thorough.

I've got to agree with Megan. I, too, am a binder/packing list planner kinda girl. I always type our itinerary, breaking days/nights down and writing in what I plan on wearing. So, to answer your question, I would have to say the first thing I get organized are my lists. I have to confess that I've already got mine started for our December cruise. I think I have some type of Cruise Loving disorder....cause I'm obsessed!! HELP ME :D
Best parking lot in Galveston

This is our 2nd Liberty cruise. Last time we parked with Park n Cruise and were pleased. However, I think I've found something right across the street from the terminal. cruisepark. It's located at 2815 Harborside Dr and costs $49/outdoors. Anyone familiar with this lot? Any comments?
