Scott,
Having a cocktail party is always fun. You can request a bartender to be present and of course your butler will be there to serve. Before our cruise, I would always have special invitations printed and I would then give the butler the invitations to be delivered to the people we wished to invite. The ship will also print the invitations for you if you so choose. You have access to the specialty restaurants anytime you wish. We have also had small dinner parties in the Master Suite.
I'm sure you will enjoy your cruise. I for one will be waiting anxiously for those videos !

I have to agree with all of the comments. The Navigator has her own personality. We have sailed in the Master Suite on the Mariner and of all the suites located in front of a ship, the Mariner Master Suite has part of the balcony enclosed. Also, the deck is so deep you don't notice the wind as much.
I'm sure whatever you decide, you and Gooch will enjoy ! After all, having a front suite you are able to do the King of the World move in privacy (except remember the bridge is above you. :)
Also, keep in mind you can host a cocktail party with a bartender present and your butler serving. It's a very fun time indeed.
Keep up the videos. I would love to see one of your videos aboard a Regent ship.

We have been in the Navigator's Master Suite on both deck 10 and deck 9. If you plan on cruising to, say, Alaska where the scenery is of utmost importance, book deck 10 for sure. Otherwise, we would suggest deck 9 for the additional space.

Ken and Gerry,
You will enjoy the Owner's Suite 8143 very much. We have had the opportunity to enjoy that little bit of heaven 4 times.

Travelcat:
Maybe the rules have changed since you travelled in a Master suite. We have travelled in a Master Suite on all of the Regent ships plus we are also Platinum. We were always informed that we could have a table in P7, and Signatures without a reservation at any given time.

Thanks Jim & Stan. Love reading your posts. Keep up the good work !

Jim and Stan,
Thanks. It's nice to know that the ship is widest on deck 8, but do you think Suite 8000 and 8001 (being between the two Vista suites on deck 8) reduce the size of those Vista suites to about the same size as the Vista suites on deck 9?

Hi Martita,
Thanks again for offering. The cruise I was speaking of is in 2010 so maybe there is someone else out there that you could help immediately. I may have been too excited about this cruise. I think it may be a little early to ask for a referral coupon. I don't know all of the rules to the referral system yet.
Take care and would love to meet you on a future cruise!
Happy sailing ! ! !

Martita B,
So sorry for the slow reply. Thank you very much for offering a Guest Reference. I will be in touch with Host Dan for the e-mail address. I'm so looking forward to our Odyssey cruise and becoming a member of the Seabourn family!

After many voyages on Regent, we have booked, and are eagerly looking forward to, our first Seabourn sailing on the Odyssey for its transatlantic crossing on December 6, 2010. We have seen that some kind Seabourn
veterans have made coupons available to Seabourn newbies like ourselves, and we would very much appreciate it if someone with a coupon might be willing to send one to us.
:) Many thanks,

It has been our experience of having the option of the specialty restaurant dishes being served in the Master Suite.
MudHen,
Are you ever right ! :)
