We usually put a deposit down as well, for our next trip, but if I don't hear something positive about something back, we will stick with Oceania and the new Viking oceans

Not sure if you can hear the construction on six, but very noticeable on 5, forward,

They are taking some unused storage rooms and making a crew lounge,

On since Thursday and still hear the noise,

No talk yet about any compensation

We are still on the ship and they are still doing construction, they are taking some storage rooms on four and making a new crew lounge,

We have not heard back from seabourn if there will be any compensation

The construction is not connected with the dining room, looks like they are building additional rooms

There was no warning and if we do not get something back after gold status, we will not be not this line again,

Appears seabourn is getting closer to carnival

We got on last Thursday in Fort Lauderdale, and we are staying on deck 5----

They are doing major construction work on deck 4--from 9am to 5 pm it is so noisy you can stay in the rooms

We are unable to stay in the room to even have a conversation,

Seabourn says' oh well -too bad for you . The work started Friday and will go for several weeks,

If you are coming on next week bring ear plugs,,,,

My wife and I also just came back from a Viking river cruise, Amsterdam to Basil, the only problems we ran onto were these

1) we were on the top floor, cabin 335, and any time some walked on the upper deck, you can hear every step. They ask the passengers not to walk after 10pm , so they are aware of the problem, but staff still walk at all hours of the night

2) some times you want a nice quick dinner out side of the forced seating of the dining room. 2 1/2 hour dinners not uncommon, they should offer a little more in the bar for dinner.

Hope the noise will not be an issue as we booked on the Star next April,

Sue and I got our coin today, we are on the venice to Barcelona to Bergen cruises in April 2014,

Looking forward to the cruise, we are also doing the Iceland post cruise tour,
