  1. In my experience, it's not the people drinking near port that are the pier runners. Usually ones who have gone off on their to enjoy the port. And not always those who are partying too much. On our cruise last week in Cozumel, they called 2 names to please call guest services desk. About 3 mins later, 2 elderly persons came riding up on the bike taxis and boarded the ship. Responsibility comes in all shapes, sizes & ages. Just my opinion.

  2. I'm sure this list exists on here somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Just got off the Elation on Thursday and I can't remember the name of the last day's drink of the day. It was something like Sunchaser or Sundance. It was yellow and the only ingredient I know is pineapple. I need a name and ingredients, if anyone can help. Thanks in advance!

  3. April cruise on Triumph, $50 pp w $100 OBC, ended up paying $129 for the taxes, so pretty much a free cruise. 2nd cheapest, the Elation. We leave next Saturday. Paid $75 pp w $100 OBC. Taxes are $155. So paid $205 for this one. 2 cruises in 2 months w 4 paid tickets cost me $334 total.

  4. We were on the Triumph Easter week and there were plenty of areas to sit and wait. Thinking the OP went to the deck he/she wasn't suppose to be on and is now complaining. The only thing you should be complaining about at this point is that you have to get off the ship. Bye- one less nay-sayer in my opinion.

  5. I agree w last post. I'm a smoker as well and enjoyed my first cup of coffee and cigarette on my balcony in the morning, but I usually did this around 7am so as not to bother anyone else. When it came time to book my cruise after the ban on smoking on balconies, I booked my first interior cabin. I used my balcony for smoking, if I couldn't do that anymore, why pay for the balcony. With that said, I smoke in the casino in the smoking areas and when I'm sitting at a machine and someone next to me starts waving their hand around and fanning off the smoke, I will respectfully move my cigarette to the hand further away from them, but that's it. Smokers are so limited to where we can smoke that I really don't care that my smoke is bothering you in the smoking area.

  6. Definitely would wait to see if there was a credit towards my S & S card for reimbursement of missed meal. Thinking poster needed to wait longer than a few hrs before calling Carnival out fir no compensation. Went on the Triumph over Easter break and friends cabin had minor water leakage onto carpet. She never complained and room steward noticed it and put dryers on it. She got her bill at end of cruise and they had given her a $100 credit for the leak. Sometimes we tend to react out of frustration and I'm thinking that's what happened here.

  7. I cruised on the Triumph over Easter w a casino rate that only cost me my taxes for the cruise. It was for an interior cabin. We had been in an interior, but couldn't pass up the deal. I am a smoker and always enjoy my first cup of coffee w a smoke on my balcony, but that is not allowed anymore. Took the interior cabin and absolutely loved it!! Yes, freaked a little when we walked in, but loved the dark sleeping quarters and a cabin that stayed cold, which is very important to me. Turn on your TV to check on the weather outside or location of ship. We, too, spend very limited amt of time in our cabin and just makes sense to us financially to take an interior cabin from now on. I think you just need to check it out for yourself.
