  1. It is possible you may still test positive by a PCR test. The Certificate of Recovery from the online site … is it a letter from a MD? Or a actual certificate?
  2. We are also going to travel with carry-on for our b2b cruise out of Rome in September/October. We have done it before while traveling to Costa Rica for two weeks because, we flew in a very small plane from Central Costa Rica to a small airport in along the Caribbean. We are planning on utilizing our complimentary laundry service on the ship each week.
  3. We are traveling to Rome with a layover in Frankfurt and concerned about our luggage being lost. Anyone had an unfortunate experience in loosing their luggage? Carry-on for a 8 and 12 night back to back cruise would be challenging.
  4. We are going to sail out of Rome for a back to back voyages. We are both vaccinated and boosted ... And recovered from COVID. We have a letter of recovery from our MDs and copies of our positive PCR results. We are hoping to not have to test so we do not have to stress out before or during our cruises. Has anyone experienced back to back cruises and only had to show the paperwork of recovery?
  5. Curious ... Do you know if those who have had COVID recently and have the recovery letter have to test?
  6. "Please be aware that some ports of call do not accept a Certificate of Recovery for the purposes of debarking and enjoying the destination" Does anyone know which ports do not accept Certificate of Recovery?
  7. This is not the first time that I have read on cruise critic that the tests that are handed out from X were invalid. Why? Did X reimburse you?
  8. A couple os lessons that I we have learned. Pack extra medications to last for at least 10 more days while traveling. Continue to pack over the counter COVID tests, just in case. And have a plan B for quarantine. I have booked a AirBnB for 10 days with the option to cancel after our cruise.
  9. Unfortunately, my husband tested positive on day 5. 😞. So, he had to continue to quarantine instead of flying home.
  10. If you tested positive in Italy, did you arrange for your own hotel or airBnB? Do you know if the guest who were on back to back cruises had to test negative before the next cruise? My husband recently tested positive while in Mexico. United Airline required for a total of 10 days quarantine, a health certificate from a MD and copy of the positive COVID test recorded 10 days before the flight home. He tried to fly home after 5 days of isolation with a health certificate from a MD and it was rejected by United Airlines. He was informed the 5 days was only for domestic travel.
