I couldn't;t find a price on his website for private tours. Do you know what he charges? We just want to do the chocolate factory, cable cars and visit a school for donations.

How much are the pedi cabs?

We have 4 port stops this cruise and don't see any excursions that interest us here, so we are just looking to do a little shopping. What kind of shops are in the gated area? Also, I have read there is a Belize sign near the area. Is this walkable and safe?

I keep getting an error banner stating I can't have 2 tabs open when I don'y. Can't search any cruise prices. Called yesterday and they said its the whole website and won't be fixed before Tuesday.

Traveling with teens and they will want the social package. Do I purchase for each of them or do we all share for that price? Are these packages avail on all the ships? Are there any deals to purchase ahead of time?

We are a group of 8, aged 11-70. What companies offer tours for our group size?

Following as we will be sailing next year with 2 friends along, all minors. We are booking 3 cabins and planned to use my MIL as the third adult. Sounds like the friends will technically need to be booked in rooms with us?? So what is the safest combination? Crew will be me, hubby, MIL, daughter 18, daughter friend 17, son 16 son friend 15, son 1. We will sleep in cabins, 4, 2, 2.

What night time activities are avail for this age group? My daughter will still be a high schooler, but 18 on our cruise.

We are on Freedom the week before Easter, on the March 25 sailing (roll call here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2461660 ) It's pricey, but actually cheaper than the Indy five night the same week!
We helped some family up north book the same cruise and while they are a family of four, it was a good $500 cheaper to have a balcony room and the promenade across the hall than everyone in one balcony, so I'd suggest using a TA for your big group.

Thank You for this info. Do you have any suggestions for where I can find a TA well versed in RCI? This is the exact cruise we are looking at.

Our spring break is in March 2018 and ends over Easter weekend.

We have cruised as a family on DCL and Carnival. We are looking at Freedom of the Seas and possibly bringing our children's friends. I have the money saved and not looking for a debate on bringing the friends. I am just budget conscious and anywhere I can shave off the budget, the more fun things I can add on. The crew will include me, DH, DS11, DS16 and his friend, DD18 and her friend and DMIL. What is the best cabin option for our group price wise and where can I find the best deals? We are using a bunch of Southwest points for our flights. One of us is a senior. We will be sailing spring break next year and I know that will increase our costs, but it is a necessary evil with the kids schedules. Thanks in advance for anyone's advice!

Does anyone know if we would be able to book if we are in port from 7-3? Its not avail from the ship excursions and I have wanted to do this excursion for a while. Our last cruise did not allow enough time. Also, where can I find the excursions available from the beach? Considering just a beach day there, but the teens might want to do more.

We are looking at doing a 5 day on the Magic next year. I am having a nard time finding info about it. We have done the Fantasy and Dream. What is different, not to miss? Is there a pirate night?Anything special about the dining? Does it have the Rainforest room in the spa?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for online stores I can check out for plus sized dresses?

I cant think of any fast food or convenience stores in Rocky Point. They are all on the other side of the airport. Many of the hotels do have free shuttles within 3 miles of the hotel.

Does anyone have first hand knowledge of the HI Rocky Pointe shuttle going to Walgreens? We are in need of diapers when we get there. Are there any pizza delivery options?
-
Rocky Point is a very nice area right on Tampa Bay with nice views. There are a few nice restaurants right in the area including Landry's, Rusty Pelican, Bahama Breeze and the great restaurants at the Hyatt Grande, Oystercatchers and Armanis. but you are also within 20-25 minutes driving time to Channelside, the nightspots in Soho and Ybor City. All the Rocky Point Hotels are more then acceptable. The Sailport is cheaper and a little older. The rooms are being refurbished as we speak and they provide free airport transfers. Taxis to the pier will be around $20-$25. If you want to be a little closer to downtown check out the Sheraton Suites on Cypress St. Its a really nice hotel with beautiful Suites and sometimes you can get a good deal there.
Ask away if you have more questions.

Are there any fast food restaurants or convienance stores withing walking distance?

I haven't followd this thread for a while since our hotel was booked and we were all set. Our airline changed its flights and now we will need supper when we arrive. We are 3 adults and 3 kids, so we are looking for something cheap and quick within walking distance of HI Rocky Pointe. Any suggestions?

Does the shuttle cost anything to go shopping? I would like to send one of us in the am before we go to port.

We have booked a room at holiday Inn Rocky Point for the 6 of us and looks like a great deal. Thanks to all for that suggestion and info. One question...Are there any stores very close by? We would like to purchase some bottled water and sand toys before we get on the ship. TIA for any info.
