    Well that's disappointing. After I saw your comment, I read briefly that the station is somewhat of a micro station and the trains, if they show up, are old. I don't know if this is a viable option for you, but this is a taxi driver I've used before. He was very reasonable and reliable.

    Stayed there on a Nada's Italy trip in 2016. We were very happy with the accommodations and location (we didn't mind walking a bit and had a multi-day vaporetto ticket). Owners/management were very accommodating. I'd have no hesitation staying there again.

    Curious why you want to go back to Venice to get the train. You can get a train to Milan from Chioggia.
