  1. All of your comments are very helpful to me! Right now I'm thinking I'm going to try to work with ibdesignsvi or St. John Bracelet Company to see if they can make something incorporating a couple of elements that I would like in the bracelet.

Blue water...was it Terrell that you worked with when you had your wife's bracelet made? I had sent an email there and that is who responded to me.

    Thanks for sticking with me!

  2. I will trust your judgement if you looked all over! Seeing our anniversary is before our cruise it would be a great idea to get it online then and spend our time there doing something more enjoyable!

Thank you for your help! I'm sure when we arrive in St. Thomas I will be especially happy to not drag my husband from store to store being difficult to please!

  3. I just booked a cruise on the Celebrity Reflection for November 29th for just my husband and I for our 20th anniversary...:) So excited we usually bring our three kids and other family members which is a load of fun but it will be so nice to just get away the two of us.

I really want to get a hook bracelet while I'm in St. Thomas and am hoping you can help me out. I'd like to get one from the St. John Bracelet company but will definately not be going to St. John this time :( I like their quality and pricing. I know that there are hook bracelets in St Thomas but I hate to spend my time looking for price and quality. Is there anyone that can direct me to someone comaparable on St. Thomas or does the St. John Bracelet company sell their bracelets in any stores in St. Thomas?

Thanks ahead for all of your help!

  4. My family including my kids ages 14,16 and 19, along with my parents and a couple of my siblings have been on both ships. We did enjoy both but all of us would agree that we definately liked the Oasis much more.

I felt food, service, and entertainment were much better on the Oasis.

If you enjoy the specialty restaurants you will have many more options on the Oasis. We only tried Giovanni's but loved it.

The shows were fantastic....the Breeze had nothing to compare.

If you told me that you like cruising more to relax in the sun and enjoy the ports then the Breeze would be fine, but if you are going to enjoy more of the amenities on the ship then it would be the Oasis hands down.

We enjoyed it so much we came home and booked the Allure :)

  5. My family of six sailed both the epic and the oasis this year. All of us would easily choose the oasis class over the epic.... So much that we have already booked the allure. Food, service and entertainment were all enjoyed more on the oasis. The bathroom setup was very inconvenient as well on the epic. The doors are see through and open on the top. Seriously felt like you were using the restroom with everyone right around you. It gets cozy fast and the brunt of many jokes for the week! Good luck with whichever you choose!

  6. Hi,

My family of 12 will be cruising on the Oasis on March 15th. With all of us I'm trying to avoid the masses at the windjammer buffet! I just got off the Epic and upon boarding I found the craziness of trying to find a table for just 6 of us insane and kind of ruined the first day fun.

I have heard suggestions that Giovanni's for lunch on ebarkation day is very relaxing and enjoyable. I am considering trying that but would much prefer to sit out front in Central Park versus inside. I know we are a large party and not opposed to splitting up. My question is...in pictures it looks like all of the tables out front are only four-tops...can someone confirm that for me? I was hoping to split into two six-tops but of course do not expect tables to be moved around to accommodate us if that is not the norm.

    Thanks for your help!

  7. I will try to send them to you tomorrow. I have them on my computer and will pull them up, but am too tired now from packing for my norwegian epic cruise next week :)

I loved the balcony, was very large and well shaded. It was a bit noisy with the pool above but it didn't bother me at all!

  8. VBMOm Thanks for your suggestions....I will definitely look into those. My Mom is definitely not capable of going on a tour alone but always encourages us, along with my Dad to go on.

Donna...thanks for your help.....looking at the boat it probably is not going to be comfortable enough for her. We'll have to talk about it and either go on without her or find something else. Some of the other tours I have looked at don't go to the place of refuge.....which I would really like to do. I am also dying to see the turtles:)

Thanks again for all of your help. I can't tell you how many times I have looked back at your review and photo album! Thanks for sharing your adventure!

  9. Donna...loved your review and the pics..amazing! It actually made me decide I have to go to Hawaii. I have a question for you about the sea quest rafting tour. Feel I have to do this but am wondering if it is out of the question for my Mom....she is in her later 70's and would not get off and snorkel....I'm wondering how wild the ride is and if she would be comfortable sitting for that amount of time. She would definitely need a seat with a back and some shade. Is there enough for her to see to enjoy herself? How is the walking on the boat..extremely difficult? She would insist on staying on the ship so we could go but I hate to do that to her...but also hate to bring her onto something that she couldn't handle.

    Thank you!!

  10. I had emailed Parrot Tree and was told that it was $10 a person to use their facility. I was wondering for those of you that have been there if it is possible to snorkel on the other side of the lagoon? Also curious how their drink prices were. We went to the Mayan Princess last year and were planning on Parrot Tree this year...hope I'm not making a mistake :)

  11. When I booked the Dream my PVP told me they don't all open up to each other. My guess is that all of the dividers will actually open, but some will block a door when doing so............this is how it is on the conquest class ships. Then it may come down to whether or not your cabin steward will open them due to safety reasons. I have heard some say theirs were opened with no trouble and others say they were told no. I have heard of people bringing duct tape and bungie cords to hook those doors together that are blocking and pushing both at the same time to open and close. Sorry this may not help you out!
