Your room appears to be over the piano bar/ aft lounge area. Try going to cruisedeckplans dot com. Under features, you can select the drag it decks option. Load Freedom and you can move your deck over deck five to see the basic area you are over. As far as being noisy, I have no info because we always stay in rooms with nothing but staterooms below/above.

These were howler monkeys trying to hunker down and wait out the rain. I tried to get some video of them, but it didn't come out too good.
And one of these (probably the big guy on the left - lol) buggers escaped that little island and came barrelling down on me. Fortunately, a staff member grabbed him by the tail right before he actually got to me, and carried him off. I think it happens quite often, because the staff member was "ready" for it. DH got a couple of good pics of it.
Enjoying your review - reminding me of my own week on her a few weeks ago.

Great review. Another question if you don't mind. We are also doing the Maya Key excursion. Do you remember the price for soda, beer or mixed drinks?

Great pictures!
I noticed your pic of the jellyfish squish. Did you bring that with you or did you purchase it at Chankanaab? We are planning on doing Chank as well, and just curious. I do so hope the critters are gone by then.

I would never cruise with anyone other than DH. Simply put, he is the only soul on this planet who can put up with my snoring.

The biggest secret about the Liberty: what will be done to her in dry dock 10/8-22/11. It has been the hush hush, tease tease for months now.

Then there was the long form questionnare we had to fill out in May 2009 on our Swine Flu altered cruise. I thought there were a few extra questions over the questionnare we filled out the previous year. The screening we went through actually had employees looking at people to see if they looked "feverish" and would pull them aside for a temperature taking. I was thinking to myself "Ft. Lauderdale in May - don't several people from cooler, dryer climates feel/look a bit feverish waiting in this heat?"

Thanks Mach. Will have to pay attention more and hopefully get a glimpse someday.

There's one MAJOR difference between sunrise and sunset... you'll never see the elusive green flash at sunrise...
:)
I do have to ask what is "the elusive green flash"? I have seen both sunrises and sunsets at sea and from shore and elsewhere (absolutely gorgeous in the mountains), but I am totally clueless as to what this is.

Thanks for posting - these are great. The men's knobby knee contest - do they still ever have that or was it replaced with the hairy chest? And man a bucket of beers for 8 bucks - wow!
But I can say the cost of my Liberty cruise in January for the both of us in a balcony is costing less by almost half than the cost of my 1997 Destiny cruise for 2 in an OV. Cost of fare down, everything else up.

If you are referring to 6205, 6206, 7205 and 7206, these are modified for for wheelchairs - handicapped accessible.

Spam or poptarts. Oops. Nevermind.

First cruise - got my lanyard stuck in the life vest when taking the vest off after the muster drill. Came darn close to strangling myself and had a rope burn on my neck for a couple of days. Fortunately two things have impoved since then. 1. Carnival no longer requires the jacket brought to safety drill. 2. Breakaway lanyards. Again - like many have said, if you don't have pockets where ya gonna put the S&S card? DH likes lanyard too and he just loops it through a belt loop on his shorts and either lets dangle or tucks in pocket.
What is your favorite Princess mixed drink?

I will second the Triple Berry Daquari - just the most divine daquari in the world IMO.
