In my case I paid with credit card and had 2 options: hold 24 hours or pay in full.
Hmm Azamara has never required a cruise be paid in full at time of booking, unless it is within final payment, which you have stated above was not the case.
This sounds like something through a travel agency, with the payment being their requirement.

There’s one in every stateroom. If yours is missing, just ask your attendant.

We had two separate booking numbers for our February/March B2B on the Journey. We had a non-refundable OBC balance from the first leg that did carry over to the second leg.
-
We were on the Journey for the B2B Western Australia to Asia/Intensive Japan this past February and March. Our OBC balance from our first leg was transferred over automatically to be combined with the OBC on our second leg. Additionally, the various forms of OBC (on-board booking, early booking, B2B, excursions, and spa) were all combined and could be used for anything.

It was during our Ancient Trade Routes cruise on the Quest in October 2022.
-
We just did the B2B Perth/Hong Kong/Tokyo cruise, and had booked excursions onboard during our October 2022 cruise.
-
We did it today and have new confirmations. The OBC is on the total cruise amount less taxes/fees.

Once the bar servers know you (happens very quickly), they don’t even ask for your stateroom number 😀

Thinking that there possibly may be more increases coming for the Experience More packages, I’ve either upgraded (from included Essentials) or purchased the Indulgence package for each. For the trips outside the final payment date, the charges (less available OBC) have been added to the final invoices. I did all of this talking to a very competent phone representative.

Does anyone know. for certain, who the senior staff of the Journey begining on February 20 will be. We’ll be on this leg, then staying for the next on to Tokyo.. Our 7th Azamara cruise, including our “extended cruise” with Capt. Carl when Covid began. Looking forward to seeing everyone onboard .

I’m sure it will be taken care of. I’ll be onboard mid-February. If I can’t do it then, I’ll contact my TA (same one that crzrr has . . . really good . . . has spent hours on the phone with Azamara for me!)

I did the same as crzrr . . . my outcome was different! I received an email stating that since I had booked through a TA, she would have to make the contact.
btw . . . I booked both cruises onboard. -
Using my Coravin, pours are 5 ounces. Most Azamara servers probably pour twice that 🤣

That was the article mentioned in the first post in this thread on December 7. As far as I can see, there has been absolutely no other mention by any other news outlet regarding Sycamore having any interest in Margaritaville At Sea. Not seeing anything, I would tend to believe that the Palm Beach Post article is inaccurate. If anyone has seen any other reference to this, please post a link here.
-
Since that first post over 3 weeks ago, I have seen nothing through any news outlet of any purchase by Sycamore.

Are gratuities included in the GBP rate? They are not in the US rate.
Gratuities are always included on Azamara!

Back in May, Tanya announced that she would be leaving Azamara and joining Explora Journeys as an Experience Manager (Explore Journeys name for a Cruise Director).

Was that an accessible cabin? I don't remember the reimagined ships standard verandah and window cabins having an outlet by the bed. In an accessible one there was.
Phil
Phil,
Not an accessible. We were in a P1 (deck 7 aft) for the first segment, and moved to a Club Continent (deck 8, starboard, more forward) for the second.
btw . . . Is the Japan Intensive you booked for next year the March 7 sailing? We'll be on that one after the Western Australia to Asia. Hope to meet you!

I used a CPAP during our 28 days (B2B) on the Onward in January and February. I did not need an extension cord. The power cord to the CPAP and the power brick cord were more than long enough to connect to the bedside outlet. We just returned last week from a short cruise on another line where that was not the case. An extension cord was needed to get to an outlet by the desk across the room.

I completed the Account Login Help Form to tell them my account on Azamara.com shows no upcoming cruise & has me as an adventurer with no points and the wrong membership number. I got an email back within the hour telling my my account looks fine to them but I could try a new password using forgot password. I did that and nothing has changed! I emailed them back to tell them this was the case.
Same here!

The packages are per stateroom. We’ve used it as we liked for excursions or the spa according to the package.

You used to be able to download an excursions brochure for each specific cruise. I haven’t seen that option available recently.
