  1. You are lucky you have had your stateroom assigned we are on QM2 next Thursday for a roundtrip Transatlantic and we have been told we will not get our stateroom assigned until we check in at Southampton.

Is this because you are a very late booking?

  2. Well Cunard have finally allocated us with staterooms for our return voyage.

Despite asking Cunard to link the two voyages, we have been allocated a stateroom on deck 11 travelling west and then whilst in Brooklyn we shall have to move all our luggage down to deck 4 and unpack for the trip back.

  3. We have just booked an excellent deal for a return transatlantic on QM2 leaving Southampton on the 27 August.

The problem is the cruise agent has sold us two voyages.

This may mean changing staterooms when we arrive in Brooklyn.

Will this involve us packing and disembarking in NY with our luggage and embarking QM2 once again?

Any hints and tips to limit the stress will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Yesterday, we returned from a B2B Transatlanic after staying for 15 nights in 4065.

Before we embarked, we had concerns about noise from the Royal Court Theatre down below especially from one of the James Taylor concerts which started late into the evening.

In the end, there was no problem and we found the stateroom location very convenient indeed.

  5. We used Tyrone last month and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Nothing was too much trouble and Tyrone knew the island inside out.

There were complimentary drinks available throughout the journey and we never felt rushed all day.

The tour was supposed to be 4-5 hours but we got back after 6 hours.

Tyrone dropped another couple off at the beach on the way back and returned for them later.

Initially, we had agreed a price of $25 each by e-mail but there was no way I could have handed over that amount but gladly paid $40 each plus a generous tip.

It was worth every penny, trust me.
